"None of this would have been possible." Nikki was saying. A champagne flute was in her hand and her eyes were lingering on Anna.
"If someone did not bug me to give Jacob a chance."
Anna rolled her eyes.
Her day started right. And now, she was enjoying herself at Nikki's rehearsal dinner.
A month from now, she was going to wed Jacob Roswell and a few months down, she'd be giving birth to a beautiful baby.
Everything seemed to be going well.
Anna couldn't believe that this was all happening.
She still remembered when Nikki first met Jacob and the latter started chatting her up.
She was hesitant to talk to him them. But Anna pushed Nikki to give the guy a bloody chance before she'd have regrets.
The two became a couple not later after a few dates and Anna could see how much they are in love.
No doubt, this was bound to happen. And Anna couldn't be happier that Nikki was finally settling down.
