Just like that, when Rami is leaving. Salvatore joined him. Even if Salvatore's men have many complains. Their complains didn't work as Salvatore denied all of their complains. Another thing, Salvatore told these people that he needed a long break. A long vacation. He needed to relax. To celebrate because one of their nemesis is unexpectedly done for as they are Rami's target. Also, he is the boss, so they have no choice but to comply.
Well, what can the others do? Nothing. As Salvatore's brother, Gabriel, agreed happily and he fully support Salvatore's decision. He even made it seem that Salvatore will join him in the act of having more hands-on experience. Experience his ass.
Rami just complied. Whatever his reason is, he can't win the brothers. No matter what he does to refuse the siblings. That's not going to work anymore. So, when Rami board to the plane for his next destination, accompanied by many bodyguards and a very 'unique' color of clothing and wearing a fur-lined outfit and sunglasses, Salvatore. Rami just held his temples and sighed.
"Idiot. And you really went with me. I'm not going on vacation, just so you know. I have something I need to finish. Look at this list. Aish!!" Rami complained immediately to Salvatore when they sit on their assigned sits inside the plane while he brought out the paper that have the list of his mission.
Salvatore took off his shades and then looked at Rami with a mischievous smile., "I'm here now. There's nothing you can do anymore."
After that, Salvatore laughed and patted Rami's shoulder.
Okay fine. Rami know that he can't do anything so this time he will comply. This kind of situation is acceptable because at least he has someone with him on every trip to the places where his targets are stationed. It's really okay with him to have someone by his side while doing his mission. With Salvatore around, he will not be lonely. He will just treat it as if his really travelling all around the world with Salvatore accompanying him.
As for his brothers. They won't find out because they don't know that Salvatore is his best friend. If they find out that he has someone beside him. He will say, Salvatore is his friend from one of the places his been to. When travelling, he gets lonely and he invite him to accompany him.
"So, where are we going?" Salvatore asks Rami while sipping on his Matcha Milk Tea that they ordered from the flight attendant a while ago.
"To Brazil." Rami answered while he bites on the croissant that his now holding.
"Ow? Then I wanted to visit their Iguacu Falls, Pantanal, and their Rio De Janeiro." Salvatore said animatedly at Rami.
"Hold your horses. That so? If you want to visit those places, you will cooperate with me in doing my mission. The faster I get it done, the earlier it gets finish."
Salvatore nodded, "That's why I came with you, to help you. Except of course for sightseeing. Hahaha!!"
The two travel in almost around the world as the people listed in Rami's mission came from different places. Rami who have many complains when he received his punishment is now happily travelling. Not minding his purpose in every country, he goes to. After him and Salvatore finished their target, they absolutely find time to visit the country's famous tourist destination.
Unknowingly, they travel for three months until they finished the list. They didn't even notice that three months already passed by.
When Rami crossed the name of the last name on his list, he looks at Salvatore disappointedly.
"We just finish the last one."
"Already?" Salvatore asks with disappointment as well.
"Ahuh!!"
"Ow. Too bad. Then you will go back now?"
At Salvatore's question, Rami suddenly went silent. He remembered that there's a situation that was waiting for him. That once he returns, he will face it no matter he will deny it.
"What? Chickening out? You know you can't deny it."
Rami shakes his head, "What no. I just got caught for a moment."
"Then you will go back?"
"Salvy, can I go back with you? I miss Gabriel." Rami held Salvatore's arm and said coquettishly.
Salvatore clicks his tongue with disgust as he looks at Rami. He then pushes Rami's forehead with his free hand away from him.
"I knew it. You need to go home now. I'm by this time, your eldest brother already receives the news that you're done."
"Ehh Salvy. I don't have the courage yet to go back."
"Rami, you need to go back and face it. You NEED to GET IT DONE!! You are the only one who can solve your problem. The Rami that I know is not a coward. If they don't accept you again and are really angry with you, at least you know you won't give up and you'll find a way to get back to them. You don't want Dark to start disliking you, right? I know your thick skinned sometimes. Your patience is incomparable. You can endure. You what I mean?" Salvatore said it patiently to Rami.
"Then I hope so."
Salvatore looks at Rami, then he asks, "So, you will go back now, right?"
After a while of silence, Rami nodded.
