I put my pants on, as Flint laid on his bed, asleep. I went up to the astronomy tower, and lit up a cigarette. Halfway through my cigar, Roger called me.
"Roger."
"Rox, where the fuck are you?"
"I'm on the Astronomy Tower."
"What the fuck are you doing up there?"
"Nothing. What are you guys doing?"
"We're hanging out at the common room, come."
"On my way." I lied.
…
I was finishing my cigarette, looking at the constellation I was named after, which somehow, always gave me a sense of warmth, and homely sensation.
"Can I have some?" George asked, pointing to my cigar.
"Sure," I said. "When did you get here?"
"Just now, when did you start smoking?"
"Third year, you?"
"Second year."
"Cool."
"Can we talk?"
"I think we should."
"What did I do wrong Ara? Why did you get mad at me? Why did you lock me out? I thought everything was fine between us, then a few days before Christmas you got mad at me, without me knowing why. Can you please explain why you're mad at me."
I exhaled smoke, and breathed. "I- Cedric."
"Your boyfriend?"
"Ex-boyfriend."
"Aww Bub, what happened?"
"He was jealous of… Of you… and I."
George was now mad. "Oh Bub. I'm so sorry. He's going to wish he…" I cut him off, and wrapped my arms around him.
"You're not mad at me?"
"Not really, I'm happy we're talking again, I sorta missed you." I answered.
"I sorta missed you too. Wanna hang out in the Ravenclaw common room?"
"Sure."
GEORGE'S POV
As we walked to Ravenclaw common room I heard Cedric's voice. I decided to give that motherfucker a taste of his own medicine. I took my hoodie off, and gave it to Bub, as I told her to put it on, because she was cold (which was partially true). I took her hand and rubbed the front of it with my thumb.
ROXY'S POV
"Bub, you're only wearing that little shirt, you must be freezing. Here, put this on," Georgie said, taking his hoodie off.
"Thanks," I said, and put it on.
"No problem," he said, as he grabbed my hand and rubbed his finger through it.
We entered the common room, and my heart sank. I saw Cedric sat down there, as if he didn't have a care in the world, which to be honest he probably didn't. He then looked at me.
"Returning half-naked at 10:30 to your common room, classy," he said. Meanwhile, Georgie squeezed my hand reassuringly, while clenching his other hand into a fist.
"Classy is hanging out at your ex's common room at 10:30, blondie. Don't you have any friends? I mean, ones that you didn't get because of your ex. I'll give you a hint, it starts with n and ends in o." George said. "Do you wanna say something Bub?" He now turned to me, and was whispering.
I wanted to say lots of things, but ended up saying, "No. Let's go to my dorm, and you can tear your hoodie off of me," I then winked at Georgie. Everyone heard, obviously, and Cedric got on another level of mad, but he didn't say anything, because I was pretty sure that if he had, George would've blown his teeth away from a punch.
When we arrived at my dorm we sat down on the bed, and started laughing.
"How are you feeling Bub?" Georgie asked, worriedly.
"Great, that was bloody awesome."
"You gave it the finishing touch, hun."
"Hey, it's all about teamwork."
"That it is," he said. "What do you want to do?"
"I need to take a shower, before thinking of doing anything. I'm so gross."
"Sure, I'll wait here, and if anyone, and by anyone I mean Cedric, asks we showered together."
"Perfect," I said, as I entered the bathroom, and closed the door behind me.
I washed my hair, and my body twice. I wanted to get all 'Marcus Flint' out of me. I washed my teeth 5 times, for the same reason, and changed into a 'Jirius' hoodie (yes, that was my dad's and uncle's Christmas gift for everyone) with a pair of black shorts.
I went out of the bathroom and saw George had left. He left a note saying that Fred and Lee were worried about him, and that he had to return.
I laid on my bed, and fell asleep pretty fast.
