I'd died..had I died? My memories were fogged, fragmented like glass shards with the pieces all jaggedly disproportionate to the other. Where was I? I'd died twice and yet the process still befuddled me, there was no familiarity to the senses, nothing to grasp although why would there be? The amusement hit me, death twice and here I was. I felt like chuckling, shrouded in the endless darkness. The helpless amusement quickly left me, however, replaced by the sudden feeling of emptiness.
I'd died again…
That didn't carry much weight on the surface but in two worlds I still found myself helpless to its whims but then again, who wasn't? The fact of the matter still annoyed me, I'd saved a woman and died for it, kept to myself and died for it. Damned if I did and damned if I didn't, I sighed..
