Hahhhh... I'm so full. I'm so tired. My brain is tired. I'm gonna lay on my bed.
I was laying on my bad and was rethinking what in the hell happened earlier.
What's concerning me is that the last time I saw his ex was that she was death staring at me, as if I did something to her. It feels like I'm in danger since she's the daughter of a mafia boss... Ahhh! Also, I kept thinking about what Mister boss said earlier, "I think feminine clothes suits you, you look cute on them." Did he really said that? And for what? When we were eating dinner earlier, I began to tell him anything what's on my mind, so I asked him, "did your parents really die?"
He was surprised that I know all that information about his parents and his love life.
I just told him that granny told me how his parents died. "I understand the feeling of not having parents, Mister boss..."
He said, "You know, there is another reason why I let you work here, it's because for your safety."
What did he mean by that? Am I in danger ever since in the first place? Should I trust Mister boss? Who killed my mother? Where is my father? Ughhh... This makes me feel even more tired. I'm gonna sleep.
It's been several days, and I had dealt with Antonio since he's the most annoying and has the worst attitude worker of Mister boss, he often orders me around as if he's my boss. He's always irritated about the small mistakes we made to him. Oh, and by the way, tomorrow is my Birthday, no one didn't know yet, but I'm planning to tell granny. Well, it's a bit embarrassing to tell her that it's my birthday 'cause she might think that I want a present or something. There's nothing to do on my birthday anyway. I'm just gonna tell granny right now.
"Granny," I called.
"What's the matter?"
"Oh, it's just... It's my Birthday tomorrow. I didn't mean to say that I want something! I swear! I don't even know why I told you this," I said.
"Then let's tell Don Hyu-"
I held granny's hand as she was about to tell Mister boss, "Nooope! Not gonna happen, granny."
"Why would you not tell Don Hyun, Honey?" Granny questioned.
"Who knows what will Mister boss' gonna do? Plus, it's embarrassing."
"Okay, okay. I'm not gonna tell Don Hyun. You can take your day off tomorrow," Said granny.
"Huh?? But Mister boss is gonna-"
"I'm sure Don Hyun's gonna understand..."
After hours of cleaning, this mortifying incident happened at night time, well, I consider it as midnight.
What's the time right now? Oh, it's 11:30. Dang, I can't really sleep right now since it's my Birthday tomorrow and I can sleep whenever I want, so I'm just gonna go to the second floor balcony and just wait for my Birthday.
I slowly closed the door as I left the maids room so I couldn't wake the maids up. I took my time when I headed towards the second balcony, and it was so cold out there, so I lowered my sleeves
"Good thing I wore my pajamas. Whoa! The moon is so beautiful! It's color pink! What a coincidence, so there is a reason why I came here. Granny is not gonna see the moon, I'm gonna take a phot... Oh, right... I don't have my phone."
*Click* *Click* *Click* I heard a sound of taking a picture. I turned around and saw Mister boss. "Ahh! H-Hey, Mister boss... What are you doing...?" My voice trembled.
He might be wondering why I'm here and he might punish me. Oh, he's taking pictures at the moon... Wait... IS THAT MY PHONE?!
I squinted my eyes to see it clearly, and it really was my phone.
"U-Uhm... Mister boss, is that my phone?" I asked him even though I already know that that was my phone.
After he was finished taking photos, he looked at me and came closer towards me, then, he gave my phone to me, "Happy Birthday."
Why is he suddenly being so nice to me?
I took my phone and asked him, "H-How did you know it's my Birthday?" I insanely blushed.
Mister boss didn't respond to my question and said, "By the way, you're free now. You can leave this place if you want to."
"H-Huh?! Really? T-Then see you never. Haha!"
"But..." Mister boss said.
"Huh? What do you mean 'But,' Mister boss?" I asked.
"Never mind," he just said that as if there was something he wanted to say.
I left the balcony and went to the maids room to get all my stuff and leave. I later arrived in the maids room and woke granny up.
"H-Honey? Why are you waking me up this late?"
"Mister boss said that I can leave now! But I'm just gonna do it tomorrow," I said.
"Really? We're gonna celebrate your Birthday tomorrow too before you leave," said granny.
Wait... I just remembered what Mister boss told me several days ago, "You know, there is another reason why I let you work here, it's because for your safety."
"Wait there, granny..." I rushed back to the second floor balcony and wished Mister boss was still there, and he still was. He was smoking. "Mister boss," I called and panted.
Mister boss smirked and said, "You now finally realized."
"Am I really in danger?" I questioned.
"Yes, and there is a high chance that people could be waiting at your house."
"And who are those people?"
"Criminals, obviously. They all know that your father stole the money and they want have it," Mister boss said.
I sighed.
Do I really want to get out of this place? I will probably die if I go outside. If I'm free to go, then who will take care of me like my mom did? Who will take care of me like... granny? I don't wanna leave granny, I enjoyed every moment when I'm with her.
"So, do you still want to leave this place?" Mister boss asked.
"No."
