Eden should have known her entire weekend would be terrible from the moment she was flagged down by her blind date in the parking lot and she saw the man she had hit with her shoe when she came here for her second interview. It had to be him because he was in front of the same building with that distinctive curly hair.
It was already more than a little weird to be greeted by someone she hadn't even met yet. Exactly how much had he looked at her picture to recognize her from across a few rows of parked cars?
She did her best to be polite about it though. This guy was David's friend's roommate, after all.
But seeing the shoe guy so obviously desperate to get away from her without speaking made her realize that he remembered the incident as vividly as she did. She went into the date in a state of utter mortification and it didn't really get better from there.
