Troy didn't even bother responding to Eden's text; he called her straight away. No questions asked, he launched into a completely random story about jellybeans. From there, he continued on with a bunch of other anecdotes without stopping for breath.
She had asked for a distraction and a distraction she got. How did he know exactly what she needed without getting nosy about it? Wasn't it standard to ask questions when someone gave a request like this?
