" I think we should leave now. The instructor is waiting for us." Chris informed as he shoved his hands in his pockets. I finished the last sip of my coffee and walked along with the other classmates towards the Bus. The coffee tasted better unexpectedly. I really was in need of that after freezing in the cold. The instructor was waiting beside the bus with his eyes fixed at his wrist watch. We walked faster as we could already see his left eyebrow rising the moment he saw us coming.
" Come on hurry up." He yelled to make everyone get on the bus as quickly as possible. This is the same person who was chilling earlier this morning.
The bus set off to the next destination as soon as we hoped on it. It travelled through a road with dense woods on both sides. The area so heavily forested that the sunlight could reach the ground only by passing through the thick canopies. It was heavenly to watch but the breezy weather was putting us on the same spot as earlier. I shoved my hands in my pockets to warm up a bit and then Min joined me too. My pockets were now puffed because of her hands but it helped our hands get warmer easily.
" We will reach the spot soon. Don't roam around like you did in our last destination or else you all will get lost. Stay in a bunch." The instructor announced.
" Bella, don't leave my hand okay." Min suggested as her face lit up with a smirk. I wasn't able to figure it out at first but then I knew what she was complying to. She literally uses every means to remind of my past tragedies.
Earlier during summer holidays when we were just 10, we decided to go out for a small picnic. The location was a little crowded then usual but we still got to have a spot for me, Mom, Min and her mother. Mins mother and my mother had become close friends already the moment we introduced them to each other. It was somewhat beneficial too, because my mother would never question me whenever I wanted to hang out or stay overnight at her place. She had the same advantages.
Anyways we went to this park where we could see family's in four sitting together and enjoying their time. We just set the cloth and sat there as we watched some kids play around. Mom cooked us lunch boxes while aunty brought us her newly tried dish. We enjoyed the food and talked. Then Aunty suggested on walking around and exploring the place a bit. So we did. As usual my mom held my hand. We walked a little bit as we passed by many people. Then suddenly I found holding someone else's hand thinking it was my mother. I noticed it only when the person called me by another name.
Thankfully I wasn't that young so I could figure out something. I asked the person who was holding me to lend me her phone so I could call my mom. Yes obviously she made me by heart that number no matter what. Honestly I was scared to death after that incident and whenever I go out with my mom now, I hold her hand. Even if I wasn't as little as a six or five year old I was still nervous thinking what if I can't find my mom. Later my mother comes along with a boy whose face looked too young for his height. He was the son of the person I was previously holding. We were exchanged and then we went back home.
"Come on I called my mom as soon as I noticed the other women." I defended.
Min lets out a huge giggle before saying "Okay I understand." We got out of the bus and waited for the instructor to first allow us to explore the place a bit. The instructor checked if everyone was present once again and then described the directions as he walked towards the small route that I almost missed out if it wasn't him who showed us the way. he asked us to meet at the same place from where we left as we all divided in groups to explore the place. the location we were at was already so beautiful to watch that we didn't need to take the risk of going further inside the forest even if everyone wanted to.
