Chapter 17 - Don't do that

After the instructor was satisfied with his checking we got into a bus that was waiting for us outside. So earlier when Min said we were traveling on a bus I did not really misheard it. I grabbed a nearest window seat and Min joined me too. I was still unknowingly attentive towards Chris and where he was sitting. Our bags were packed in the trunk which for me is another headache because I am both sure if I will ever find my bag.

The ride was long with lots of twists and turns throughout the way making us dance in a rhythm.

We were at a hill and the instructor said that there are more slopes and twists and turns to come in the road until we reach our hotel in which we are staying. As we were climbing more towards the higher altitudes the weather was pretty unpredictable. It was shiny all around the place because of the sun but the air was cold. Cold enough to freeze us actually but we had closed all our windows.

The bus driver was sweet enough to drive a bit slowly when it came to narrower parts of the road or just too slimy roads alongside playing soothing music. Even the instructor had fallen asleep and it was a relief for all of us because he had been yelling the same thing from the moment we stepped on the bus. Everyone could now enjoy the view outside the window or just sleep.

I looked around myself and most of my classmates had fallen asleep which was strange for me as they didn't sleep peacefully when they were on the train. Even Min was deep asleep without being bothered about the light jerkings the bus was giving us.

Adi and Chris who were sitting behind us leaving just one seat in between were both asleep. Well I was the only one awake I guess which was kind of entertaining for me because now I know that my classmate Salim who was sitting beside our seat snores a lot. Mr. Goyal, our instructor, makes weird sounds while sleeping with his mouth a little open. The two supervisors who were rumoured to be dating are actually holding hands while sleeping!

I tried not to laugh at all the people around me but it was really hard so I just diverted my attention towards the view outside the window. It was just so dark and nothing was visible except the reflection of my classmates sleeping with weird faces. My face had already turned beet root trying not to laugh and my stomach had started hurting. It was then when I felt like my eyes were wet.

I turned to see Min with her eyes slightly opened as she looked at me in confusion. Her head was lying on my shoulder and she might have woken up when I was shaking a little because of my unbearable laughter. She went back to sleep again after a minute.

I tried to tilt my head towards the glass window which was just a bad idea because my head just bounced back banging my forehead on it. I massaged my forehead a bit to make the pain get better. I heard a small chuckle from behind me and I immediately turned my head to see while keeping in mind not to wake up my friend. Who else could it be?

"What? " I whispered in the lowest tone possible.

"You are funny. " Adi replied in the same tone trying not to wake up his friend who was handsomely sleeping with head just at the right posture. Chris was a bit taller than Adi, I can see the difference now.

"Stupid." I commented and turned back. Why does he always get to see me when something bad happens to me. I looked at the window and cursed at it with my eyes.

"Hey! " He whispered again and I looked back.

"What? " I whispered.

"Nothing."

I bit my lips trying not to yell at him and he chuckled again.

"Don't do that. " He said.

I was not sure of what he meant to say but then he gestured towards me as he copied me,by biting his lips just like me.

"That's sexy. "He said with a wink.

I immediately stopped doing that and rolled my eyes at him. He grinned showing up his slight dimples as his eyes got smaller. I threw a fake smile at him and turned back.

Now I just wanted to fall asleep just like others. I leaned back on my seat and tried to fall asleep and soon I did.

I woke up suddenly when something bright fell straight on my face. I wasn't sure what it was and I was still dizzy. I thought of ignoring it but my subconscious said it might be something. So my eyes flung open to see a silhouette in front of me.
