"Congratulations Madame Julia. It's a boy."
The women in the room smiled and congratulated the the beautiful young woman lying on the bed. She had golden blonde hair which turned red at the tips and was of bright completion but right now was pale and sweaty from the labour pain but still had a smile on her face. She had golden eagle like eyes usually with sharp piercings gaze but right now she looked at her son with soft and loving gaze. She had golden wings behind her shoulders, with red and orange pattern on them which made them look as if they were on fire. She also had long pointy elf ears which showed that she was half beastmen and half elf. The old head mid wife tapped on the baby's butt and to her surprise the boy kicked her. Her eyebrow twitched, she winced in pain as she handed over the baby to her assistant to hold him and wrap him a towel. Looking at her the mother of the baby, Julia looked at her in panic.
"Is he fine? Why did he not cry? Aren't babies supposed to cry when tapped on their butt? " This was her second child, so she had experience.
The old mid wife shock her head "No, the young Lord is healthy. There are times when babies don't cry but show the reaction physically like young Lord by kicking or trying to claw. What's wierd is his strength. His kick hurts a lot and that is something considering that this old lady is of the tiger beastmen tribe." She raised the sleeve of her dress and reveal a bruise above her inner side of elbow which was starting to turn blue.
Everyone in the room, mid wives, Julia and maids, where shocked. The tiger beastmen tribe is one of the strongest among the beastmen race and to think the young Lord was born strong enough to give her a bruise. Even if the head mid wife was old, being from tiger tribe she was still stronger than most people in the room.
"This old lady has only seen such strength when I had delivered the princess of the whale tribe. The Royal Family of whale tribe is blue whale. And I think young Lord is a lot stronger than her. " The tiger ears on her head and tiger tail behind her twitched as she recalled something.
"Sera please heal old Delilah."
Julia's shock turned into a smile and she asked to her lady in waiting to heal the head mid wife. A strength which was above blue whale tribe.... She knew it came from his father who had dragon bloodline. Her son had grey skinny and leathery wings behind his shoulders and a long scaly tail behind him just like his father.
"aahaaaa..... "
The women holding the baby suddenly screamed and almost fell with the baby but Delilah quickly took the baby from her before she could fall. As they tried to understand what happened, the door was kicked open.
"Julia! What happened? Are you okay? "
Everyone turned their head to look at the door to see a tall, buff man walk into the room. He had large black scaly, leathery wings behind his shoulders and a long black scaly tail with horn like spikes at its spine, draging behind him on the carpet. He also had long black bushy hair which reached his chest, bright completion and pitch black eyes reptile that usually looked deep and scary but right now were full of worry and panic.
"Al! I am okay. Don't worry." Julia assured her husband.
"Congratulations Lord Albion, Young Lord is born a healthy baby." Delilah greeted the man. "Please we will need your help in giving the young Lord a bath as he is too strong for us." She walked to him and handed over the baby wrapped in blanket over his father while wincing in pain as she received two more kick from the baby. Albion quickly extended his hands and took his son and immediately noticed his son's strength as he kicked in his arms but he was not hurt. He gently patted his son who slowly calmed down.
"What happened here? "
He looked behind and saw Sera, Julia's Lady in waiting crouched down near someone on the carpet and healing them.
"Oh it seems Rika just patted on the young Lord as he fidgeted in her arm but received a kick from him. " Delilah answered.
"Hahaha..... Patting someone with bloodline of the mighty dragon race, on the butt will only result to this. The dragons are prideful in nature and getting patted on butt isn't exactly the something that goes well with that pride. The pride and arrogance is in the blood." Albion laughed as he patted his son proudly. "Off course that won't happen if I pat him as I too have dragon bloodlines." He patted his son's butt and sure enough he didn't kick him but instead started crying.
"wuhaaaa... wuhaaaa"
As the much awaited baby cry filled the room, Julia shouted at her husband.
"Al!! Don't make him cry on purpose and quickly give him his first bath, I am dying to hold my son. "
"Calm down son or your mother will kill me. "
He chulked as he followed one of Delilah's assistance and wiped blood off his son's body with her instruction while receiveing few more kicks. He than wrapped his son in a clean towel and walked his wife. The maids and now healed mid wives excused themselves out and let the husband and wife have sometime to themselves.
"Here take a closer look."
Albion handed his son over to his mother. Julia held her son lightly rubbed thier cheeks together. She could feel the connection between them and her long pointy ears twitched in excitement.
"Thank you for giving birth to such an amazing son." Albion hugged his wife and she purred in his arms not taking her eyes off her son.
"Check his bloodlines. You will be surprised. "
Her husband told her and she injected a very small amount of her mana into her baby very carefully to check and her mouth was left open in surprise.
She and her husband were one of the very few in the world to possess four bloodlines of different races and the only couple with total of eight bloodlines of different races. She possessed bloodlines of fairies, ancient phoenixes, elves and golden falcon beastmen tribe, while her husband had ancient dragons, demons, dwarves and humans. Both were born half and half and acquired the other two through inheritance.
Bloodline can be inherited either through birth or aquired through inheritance left by an ancestor. When dying some people concentrate all their bloodline to their heart where it forms a crystal which after finding the right person would melt into their body and become part of them giving them the abilities of that race.
Albion was born to a human father and dwarf mother and Julia was born to an elf father and beastmen mother. They acquired the other two in a dungeon after getting trapped in. Albion acquired the other bloodlines from inheritance of the Demonic Dragon and Julia acquired them from the inheritance of the Fairy Phoenix, the two being others have only heard of in legends and were considered to be gods by some and a calamity by others. Demonic Dragon was born half demon and half ancient dragon while Fairy Phoenix was born half fairy and half ancient phoenix.
What surprised them was that their son was born with all eight bloodlines they had. And not only that the bloodlines he possessed were actually stronger than the ones present in them. Out of ten bloodlines existing in this world their son had eight of them. He only lacks gaint and monster race bloodlines to have all the existing bloodlines.
