In the end, Kale chose to join the Royal Blacksmiths. He realized that talent without technique was nothing. He could forge a sword as well as any other blacksmith, but it would never exceed theirs.
So he headed to Rusko to meet the Master Blacksmith there. He wanted to apply and learn the technique as fast as he could. He knew it was a long shot, but the Main office of the Royal Blacksmiths was in the capital. A walk to the capital from Rusko was two to three weeks depending on the conditions.
He started to walk towards Rusko in the morning. He followed a little dirt trail past the Goblin Village and was able to sneak past all the monsters. By late afternoon he arrived at the gates of Rusko.
He had been to Rusko many times before so the guards didn't stop him. He often came here to get more supplies and get a few tools that he just couldn't get from the goblins. He got most of his tools from a blacksmith called Barclay. Barclay however, was not a member of the royal Blacksmiths he was a basic town blacksmith. He had no formal training and he would only be compared to an apprentice in the Royal Blacksmiths if that.
The man he had to request help from was Adair. Adair was a Master Blacksmith capable of forging blades imbued with aura with ease. However, since he was a Royal Blacksmith it was very unlikely that he would get help, but he had to try.
He had been walking for about 15 minutes when he arrived at a large two-story forge. It had a line of about six people ready to have weapons made or mended. He would have to wait in line for about an hour just to let these people get back and he didn't even know if he would get help. He decided it was worth the wait because of the payoff.
About an hour later the line and cleared out and he got to come face-to-face with the blacksmith Adair.
