The music booming from the club could be heard from the corner of the road. The electro-music wasn't muffled as they drew closer and parked close by. The very ground she walked on as she drew closer to the entrance literally vibrated from the vibe that was created and that slightly changed the atmosphere around her.
Aria wanted nothing more than to forget the night, to forget what had happened and what she had seen. So when she bribed the bouncer to avoid standing in the long queue, she was happy when the aura of the club enveloped her.
The smell of alcohol, sweat, and sex was rich in the air. You couldn't avoid it at all and Aria didn't wish to. She wanted to drown in her passion for dancing, she wanted her dark thoughts and memory of tonight to just disappear. Even if it was temporary.
"What do you want to drink?" the bartender yelled, as she took a seat by one of the stools. giving him a flirty smile, she yelled back,
"Tequilla. Make it a double will you handsome?"
"Anything for you for!" he said with a wink.
As soon as she downed it, she walked directly to the dance floor and began to move.
"Are you insane like me
Been in pain like me
Bought a hundred dollar bottle of champagne like me
Just to pour that motherfucker down the drain like me?"
The song played, Aria let her head fall back slowly as she stretched out both her arms and moved her hand in a circular motion with her hips. She raised her arms slowly as she kept the motion. Creating her own safe bubble.
"Would you use your water bill to dry a stain like me
Are you high enough without the Mary Jane like me
Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?
Do the people whisper 'bout you on the train like me?
Saying that you shouldn't waste your pretty face like me?"
Letting her hands fall onto herself, she let them move down sensually and seductively as she slowly twirled her hips. She moved around on the dance floor alone and unbothered. She felt like this was her solo.
So why not own the damn floor?
"And all the people say
You can't wake up, this is not a dream
You're part of a machine, You are not a human being
With your face all made up, living on a screen
Low on self-esteem, so you run on gasoline
ohh- ohh- ohh,
I think there's a flow in my code
oh, ooh-oh,
These voices won't leave me alone.
Well, my heart is gold and my hands are cold"
Aria moved in a circle motion as she continued to let her hands go up and down her body, she let her eyes open for a moment and noticed many gazes around her as she swayed to the beat. She didn't feel shy, in fact, she basked in it.
Yet when she looked up, she noticed the eyes of a stranger, a stranger that had haunted her dreams once or twice. Raising her one arm, she twirled her hand and then gestured for the stranger to come to her with her finger.
Slowly walking towards her she continued to dance, once the stranger reached her, she turned and felt the strangers hands on her hips. Moving her hips back and forth on his hands. Slowly tightening at each point.
Once the beat dropped, she locked her wrists around his neck and went down, doing the spilts. She expected him not to know how to react so that she bent and stand in a different way but no. The stranger grabbed her hips and pulled her up slowly.
As soon as she looked up, she noticed vivid gold eyes and she couldn't help but stare. Yet before she could do anything else, she heard loud urgent shouts.
