Chapter 18 - Chapter Seventeen: Obsolete Sentiment

Back at Wilhelm only six hours after Silla had left bright green eyes flashed open. Declan soon awoke and found her missing. At first he couldn't even describe the emotions he felt. It was despair, fear, and even more.

He would make sure to find her.

But when he did find her. What would he do?

He was confident that she would choose him and obediently get used to him, but now... He realized what an idiot he was.

He knew what kind of obsessive monster he was.

He should have been more cautious, she was his equal in every way maybe even surpassing his own cleverness. Though to his defense, he though there was no possibility she would fine her way back home. Since he believed this, he thought he could be patient with her and wait.

Something dark in the back of his mind stirred restlessly whispering things to him as his grip on his knife tightened.

He needed to find her. To find her and make her his forever.

His head filled itself with crazy thoughts.

He wanted to make sure she could never run away from him again. He could take one of her feet, but he didn't want to cut her pretty ankles. So he decided on cutting her Achilles' tendons just enough to not be able to run and not leave a mark.

The monster inside him continued to whisper horrific suggestions, but Declan ignored them.

Silla didn't know that he was an unforgivable beast.

That was probably why she dared to run away from him.

They say if you love someone let them go and if they come back to you it was meant to be.

And she did like a bird.

She flew away with her wings.

Would he be able to get her back?

If he did find her, what would he do?

"U-Umm... Sir somehow we still can't manage to find her it's o-only been a few days a-and yet Ms. S-"

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

A body immediately falls on the ground dead and a pool of blood started to form making the other guards back way in fear.

He pointed at the mans dead body. "THIS WILL BE YOU IN TWENTY FOUR HOURS IF YOU STILL CAN'T FIND MY WOMAN! NOW CLEAN UP THIS MESS, OR YOU'RE ALL DEAD! He yelled before slamming his gun back onto the front desk while massaging his temples. Whoever helped her fucking escape would be severely punished.

Screaming in anger, he began to grab his hair tightly before throwing the glass at the wall making it shatter into a million tiny pieces. Suddenly a loud knocking on his door ripped him out of his violent thoughts.

"WHAT?!" Glaring dagger at the person behind the door ready to end their life for daring to interrupt him moment alone.

"I-I think we've found her s-sir."

Sighing Silla walked out of the motel to breathe some fresh air. These last few days had taken a lot out of her. Looking at the sky above her, she suddenly felt cold. Just as she was about to go back inside to warmth the screeching of tires alerted her.

Looking to the parking lot, she saw a sleek black floating craft pull up and skid to a stop.

She couldn't help but get a very bad feeling.

The vehicle door slammed open shattering the window glass of the door. Out came a livid Declan his sandy blonde hair was a mess and his clothes were completely disheveled. On top of that he also looked extremely stressed.

His green eyes looked enraged, he was furious.

How did he find her?

As if sensing the presence of another person his wide eyes met Silla's.

Oh no.

That is not good.

She quickly ran inside the motel and hid in the bathroom making sure to lock the door. Panicking, she heard his footsteps walk by the door but thankfully they soon passed. After a good twenty minutes she decided to open the door. "I'm going to make it!" she thought excitedly.

All of a sudden she opened her eyes and came face to face with a pair of shiny black leather shoes.

She froze, her eyes popping out of her head and slowly cranked her neck, looking up.

There standing, looking down at her with a very scary look, was Declan.

She gulped.

"Shit."

He stalked straight towards her with a murderous glare etched onto his god-like face.

"You." He growled.

"Me." She sarcastically meeped instantly regretting it and slapping her hand over her mouth; god she was insane why couldn't she just keep her mouth shut! She just keeps making an already bad situation worse.

Her body started to tremble a bit, her mind screaming at her to run, thinking that he might want to kill her but as much as she wanted to listen to herself, her legs seemed to disobey, keeping her rooted to the spot, completely vulnerable to the incoming danger. His deep green irises slightly darkened and with another single step, he was already right in front of her, his hot breath fanning her face.

"U-Um... What a-are you doing? I-I'm sorry." Lies. She wasn't sorry in the least.

"P-Please d-on't h-hurt me..." She weakly muttered, starring at him like a child caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Her heart wildly thumping inside her chest as his burning gaze kept digging deep inside her trying to find something. He then slowly, hesitatingly brought his big hands towards her cheek and in one gentle motion, he glided the back of his fingers over her skin, leaving a warm trail behind.

Without thinking about and on instinct Silla put her hands on his shoulders and stood on her tiptoes, hiding her grin when he went stock still. She leant in, keeping her eyes locked on the swirling green color of his own.

Her mouth brushing his cheek lightly, and so felt extreme satisfaction when he shivered as she moved her lips to his ear. "Del," she breathed into his ear.

"Hmm..." He groaned lightly his arms trembling around her. They were so close that she could feel his heart fluttering like a humming bird. His eyes full of happiness and adoration. It seemed he was so happy by the fact that she accepted him that he didn't even acknowledge the fact that this could be a trick.

She gasped when his large hands lifted her up by her waist and held her close to him. His lips gently traveled down her jaw and to her neck as he softly sucked on the sensitive skin. Purposely she let out soft gasps while he did this. Her hands wrapping around his back desperately like he was her life line.

She didn't intend for it to get this far, but she was waiting for the perfect moment to make her move.

But it was taking forever!

When he slightly moved his legs in the right angle, she quickly kneed him in the crotch as he let out a loud yelp and fell over. Taking the opportunity she dashed past him running as fast as she could. "GODDAMN IT SILLA!" She heard, followed by the thumping of heavy steps.

This was her last chance.

Her last hope.

She desperately ran down halls trying to confuse him, but he continued to chase after her. The thumping continued to get louder and louder the closer he got to her. Afraid she ran even faster as he chased after her. Silla's legs screaming at her to stop while he only got closer so close that she was soon tackled to the ground.

Silla waited and braced herself for the harsh landing but it never came. Instead, Declan had used his body to encase her from the floor.

He had caught her.

Aaah... This was bad! Is he angry at her?

To avoid his wrath, she tried wiggling away to escape again.

"Trust me when I say this dorogaya. Don't ever try that again. It's in your best interest," he spoke with a sinister undertone and a look on his face that screamed angry.

Shit.

"Heh... And getting kidnapped is," she back fired at him. To say he was not pleased with her response was an understatement he scooped her up with one arm only to squeeze her even tighter afraid that she would slip away. Which Silla totally would.

This time around she didn't struggled or fight him because she knew she wouldn't be able to get out of his grip her only option was to beg. As demeaning as that was.

"P-put me down!" She desperately asks stuttering when he gripped her by the hips while she beat her fists on his side and back.

"Nyet." He quickly responded.

Looking back in worry of her companions she saw one of Declan's goonies dragging both Cain and Katya out of our room then Zelan.

Carrying her into the craft, they drove off again into the night.

However the entire ride the green eyed man stayed silent freaking her out even more. When they reentered their room at Wilhelm, he walked to the dinning area where he offered her tea, which at this point she wouldn't dare turn down. It was so cold outside and inside that crappy motel she could only think about was heat.

Silla silently watched as he went into the mini kitchen and put a tea kettle on the stove with water already beginning to boil as she watched the digital TV with Cain in the living room until he brought Silla her tea. He was being strangely docile after what had just happened, and she was confused but acted like everything was fine.

Handing the small cup to her, she looked at it and saw a pretty small white flower hanging on the corner of it. "What type of flower is this? It's so pretty..." She asked curiously as she moved it around with her index finger seeing it spin slowly in the teacup.

"It's a carnation," Declan replied smiling looking at her softly.

"Carnations stand for love and innocence in women," he continued.

She tightly gripped the tea cup at this unfamiliar feeling she was getting.

But then...

She stared to feel sleepy.

Silla tried to stand up but couldn't and only fell back into her seat. "D-Del what did you g-give me?!" she asked weakly confused. She gathered all her strength to try and make it to the front door stumbling everywhere. Just fifteen steps felt like a thousand to her at that moment.

She was so disoriented she didn't even notice that Declan had cocooned her in blankets and put her back on the bed.

"In my own way...

I tried to respect your feelings...

But...

If you try to run away from me, that changes everything.

I'll have to...

Do whatever necessary to keep you." He leaned down and whispered darkly into her ear causing shivers to go up Silla's spine.

She was about to shout out for help when she cut off by a hand coming over Hera mouth muffling the sounds escaping her. "Shh... Shh~ Just breathe love just breathe~"

"That's it~ You're finally coming back home with me love."

Her vision started to go black, but she was so tired that she didn't seem to care. Silla was beginning to lose consciousness. "You're finally here... With me... Back in my arms safe and sound." The last thing she had saw was his bright green eyes that resembled those of a beast, not a man. His pupils looking almost snake like and slitted.

Staring above her unconscious form he brushed his fingers through her silky hair. This was an unexpected set back. He knew he first had to make her feel safe around him. That was why he hid his claws and acted childishly in front of her. It was a calculated move.

He didn't want to resort to such a thing as drugging her but he knew if he didn't she would try to escape again.

But this time though she would be in a new place and escape would be impossible...
