Chapter 2 - chapter 2

Armin found himself in a strange dream, the air was freezing, it was stinging his skin. His hair was long and it fluttered in the icy breeze, but the strangest part was that his hair was an extraordinary white colour it looked magnificent if he said so himself.

He looked around but couldn't find anything as a cold mist surrounded him blocking his vision. He found himself standing on top of the ice, he was barefoot but couldn't feel the cold ice,' perhaps my feet are numb.' he thought but it was strange he could feel the wind but not the ice.

He was clothed in pure white robes he could never dream of affording they were soft and clearly made of high-quality silks.

-crack-

'hmm what was that' he questioned in his mind and looked down...

-crack-

The ice was cracking under him, he was stumped, the cracks went so far they reached past the mist which obscured his view,

-crack-

The ice was extremely cracked and looked like it could collapse any second, and it did.

He was shocked that he didn't feel fear and was extremely calm, it was at this moment he realized he didn't feel anything, apart from the slight stinging on his arms. The seemingly bottomless pit he was falling into ended in the abyss or so it looked.

He urged to wake up and it worked...

==================================

Nulla had taken the child to his carriage and threw him inside on one of the seats.

'Now what, I've taken this child and have no idea what I'm going to do with him, am I really willing to teach him?... He'll help with the plan.'

With that thought he climbed in the carriage and told the guards with him to leave for the kingdom of Lostforse, this was the kingdom he received from the king. The trip would take around six days as this town was one under his jurisdiction.

==================================

Armin's eyes opened slowly and he found he was in a strange room it was like the room was having an earthquake going up and down, it had curtains and the outside was moving...?.

It then struck him that he was in a carriage, he looked ahead and saw a man watching him with sharp eyes, the man had red hair, his facial hair consisted of stubble and he had light blue eyes, his physique was unreadable but you could tell he was well built by the muscle in his forearms.

"Who are you...?" He questioned for some unknown reason his voice was icy cold and confident, ironically surprisingly this did not surprise him.

Nulla looked at the child. 'for a child that was screaming a few hours ago he is surprisingly calm.' he thought.

"My name is Null Reviah, you are going to study under me in the ways of a maju..." Nulla stated coldly.

Armin responded, "As far as I can remember... Im not talented in that." he let out a sharp glare.

Armin calmly pointed to the window, "Look in the window, at your reflection."

Lucrane was a bit confused, he looked at his reflection and saw just how little of a reaction he had at something so shocking. In fact, he had no reaction at all... The boy was clearly him but was way more attractive in every way his skin was paler but smoother and complimented his newfound white hair and silver eyes, his physique was the same however, slim but not skinny due to his mother no doubt.

"You have had a trauma awakening, you've awoken the abilities of nae." Armin said unphased.

"hmm, what about my mother?"

Armin slowly opened a small case that was on the seat next to him as he took out a cigar, put it in his mouth and it seemingly lit itself, "She passed away." he responded as he let out a puff of smoke.

"How do you know this, I wasn't near my house. and-"Armin glared at Nulla as he said this, but was cut off by Nulla's response:

"I sensed a woman surrounded by four men, I killed the four men but unfortunately they had already killed the woman, which I'm assuming was your mother, seen as how you were screaming about guards and your mother."

Armin was silent, he had no response as his face returned to its cold state, colder perhaps.

Nulla thought to himself, 'So the awakening affected his emotions too, I decided to lie about his mother so that he doesn't try running away or try asking me to support her financially, but to think he would be so cold, an interesting awakening indeed, I wonder if he can kill so impassively...'

The carriage fell into silence as a white-haired youth and a red haired middle-aged man made their way to the youth's new 'home'...
