Chapter 9 - Day 9

𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵.

Today I was able to finally see her.

I was walking through the corridors on the first floor and she passed me.

We looked at each other and she greeted me shyly.

I returned her greeting with a smile.

She was all intubated.

She must have been through a lot.

But I'm glad she's better.

Very glad!

I started to approach, but she ran away.

Why is she running away from me?

Is she afraid of me?

I decided to follow her anyway and arrived in her temporary room.

In the meantime, she was already lying on the bed with the covers up to her head.

Why is she hiding?

"Why did you... run away?" I ventured to ask her.

She, without baring herself even an inch, replied: "Oh well... I-I'm not in the best condition to... s-show me."

But what does she say?

Do you really think that I care how she looks?

You know it too, for me she still remains beautiful.

"Oh no no no, don't hide. I don't judge you. I didn't come here to judge you. Then, in any case, I should be the last person just. Only... it's been a while since you have come to meetings and... we're all a little worried. Mike said you were very sick and they transferred you to the emergency ward. I just wanted to... know how you were... "I told her with a smile.

"On behalf of everyone else huh..." I added maybe a little too quickly.

I said a lot of bullshit.

But you know... I couldn't say "Ah you know Elisa, from the first moment I saw you you intrigued me in an absurd way and I really want to know you. Then I absolutely didn't let Rachel tell me the floor you were on so RANDOMLY I could see you, and here I am! "

So I made up the other people's excuse.

She slowly uncovered her face and looked at me smiling.

"Oh ... really thanks f-for worrying... now I'm better, Monday I should go back to meeting. T-thanks again..."

"Oh... imagine nothing, I'm glad you're better! So... see you on Monday!" I said smiling at her one last time. "Okay, see you on Monday!" she answered me.

I left the room I was happy.

Very happy.

Finally, I had seen her again.
