I was right all along. Adam showed some signs of him leaving yesterday. I don't know if it's a sign? But I guess it is my instincts that tell me he will leave me here. Guess he doesn't want to end up dead by saving someone's ass. Well, it doesn't matter. I don't care anyway. I can pretty much survive by myself. However, I have to admit that having someone with necro by your side is convenient.
I looked around me, thinking what I should do next. When I looked at my side, I noticed the sword I brought with me since then. I took it and saw how it got heavier this time. Is it heavier? Or it is me who has gotten weaker.
I decided to leave this place since it's getting dangerous here. The building is showing some signs of collapsing. Though it's only a training session, I'll think of it as a real-life scenario. If it's real, I wouldn't want to get stuck in here waiting for my death. After all, inside a framework or not, no place here is safe.
I picked all my things first before I leave; the canned goods I gathered yesterday, the weapon, the steel wool, as well as some batteries that Adam picked up yesterday. Guess he purposively finds these things and assessed my abilities to survive before leaving me—such a cunning guy. I think I shouldn't have underestimated his experience.
'What next?'
What next? This question is what I ask first every time a new door opens up for me to pass. This time around, what door should I open? What path should I take? I should answer questions like that to be able to do a thing.

As soon as I got out, the sun's rays hit my eyes along with the wind's cool breeze that grazed on my skin. It felt as relaxing as ever. As I tranced the impaired and ravaged city ruins, I saw few automobiles which I think I can make us of, and I am thinking of fixing it, but that would be too time-consuming considering the resources and power I have right now. If Adam is here with me, it's possible. As I continued to walk further, I saw a tall structure, probably a tower that hid along with the large trees that it's almost unnoticeable. My curiosity got the better of me, and so I decided to check what's inside.

As I passed the two floors of this tower, I couldn't notice anything except a few vandalisms on the wall and a flooded hallway. As I traversed the messy hallway towards the stairs to get to the next floor, a spark of light flashed before me.
"Whachu doing here yah boy?" A grumpy voice emerged out of nowhere.
I was surprised to hear that voice; although I wasn't scared or anything, I was startled hearing a human voice around.
"Hey, yah hearing me?" The man slowly walked towards the light illuminating his face and half of his body. Surprisingly, he isn't as old as he thought he was. He looks a few years older than me. But he short, like a five-year-old kid. He's wearing glasses and has freckled along his cheeks. He has a fair skin tone with curly brown hair. What's more surprising is that he looks familiar.
"Yes, I heard you."
"You lost or something?" The man came closer and stared at me as if examining who I am. This guy looks harmless in general, but the moment his head tilted up and his sight hit my left shoulder where my sword rests, his face changed. His eyes turned into something I could never explain. His eyes alone can say a thousand words, more than a lip does. His face looks dreadfully scared but with anger and resentment. Slowly, the chills ran down to my spine, and I was stiffened. "That sword, are you a soldier?"
I maintained my stance and stared directly at his eyes, "N-no."
He leaned closer to my head with a devilish smile, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I just happened to pick this one up along the way."
He sniffed and placed his two fingers below his chin, "Strange enough; I can't smell any necro from you." He wrinkled his eyebrows and stared directly at me; however, this time, his scary face was gone. "Is that your ability? Can you hide your necro? That's amazing! Can you tell me more about it?" His expression changed, and he sounded so excited, like a child who just got candy. He started to walk around me, look up and down. To be honest, I felt pretty disturbed.
I heaved a sigh. Well, at least, I won't get killed now. "There's nothing scary about me. I don't have any necro."
He then jumped to me using his grabbing my neck with his arms like a wife holding his man who just got home from work.
"Are you sure?" He wrinkled his eyebrows as he tilts his head left and right.
"Hell yeah." Come to think of it, a short man with curly hair and has a pair of glasses. Grumpy and is a bizarre person.
Could it be…
"By any chance, are you Mr. Quazano?"
I saw his expression changed to what it was once before as he pushed me with his feet to pull himself back with a backflip. Simultaneously, the kick went me into a corner, and my back hit a wall that caused a crack. The impact was powerful, and I felt the pain more than the wound I had before.
He shouted so loud that it caused a wild vibration causing a few pieces of debris to fall from everywhere, "I was right, you were hiding something from me! Who are you? How did you know me?"
I raised my hand, awfully pleading for mercy. I am powerless; I never thought a tiny guy like him could make me tremble in fear and suffer constant humiliation. "Please! I just knew it! I never had any bad attention, and I know you because I heard that there's a missing man named Quazano, and I thought it was you because you match the descriptions given by them!"
"Bastard! No one knows the name Quazano except for one guy! How can you possibly know it!"
Oh fuck, I messed up this time. I grabbed a few stones with specks of dust near me and threw them directly at his eyes. For a millisecond, his vision was disturbed, and I used the chance to grab my sword and run away swiftly. However, he was so fast, and my speed isn't enough to outrun him.
Therefore, I used my sword and slashed everything before me to block his way. It slowed him down, but not enough to stop him, so I kept doing the same thing as I rushed my way outside. The sword was heavy when I was carrying it, but it seems lighter right now, which is weird. What's more surprising is that despite my feeble body, I can still draw out this sword's destructive power.
As I slowly run further towards the exit, a small light flashed before me. And then, the light was gradually becoming brighter and brighter. I tilted my head backward and looked back to the man who was chasing after me. I saw him jumped from afar while both of his hands are spread out, ready to grab me. I closed my eyes, thinking that it's all over. But after a while, I realized that nothing had happened yet. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that everything has changed. Right now, I am sitting near the portal. As I blinked my eyes and shook my head to wake the shit out of me, Leon and Sylve's hands reached me.
"Vander, we're under attack." They both said.
