"Evan! What the hell are you doing?" Krisha shouted from afar.
Evan was carrying stones from his back which came from the rocks he lifted from people who were stuck or crushed."Saving lives!!" Evan is a C rank healer and an A rank Fighter. He may be a weak healer, but he can at least keep a few lives.
"Why are you doing that? We have to escape!"
Evan shouted from afar, "Wait!" He found a little girl lying while her feet are crushed by two large rocks. He put his two fingers on the young girl's wrist and found that she still has a pulse. "Hey, you hearing me?" The girl slowly opened her eyes and whispered, "Mister." The girl looks so weak and on the verge of dying.
"Hey, hang in there. I'm gonna save you, okay?"
The girl smiled after she heard that as she used up the last of her strength to say, "Thank," Her eyes were about to close, "you…" And by that, she had lost her consciousness.
Evan used the remaining of his necro to lift the two large rocks to free the girl up. As he depletes the last two of his necro after lifting the stones, his vision went blurry, and he knows he was about to collapse. 'Oh crap', he thought, necros shouldn't be depleted, or else it will affect one's body drastically, but he knew he had no choice.
"Krisha! Call f-for h-help" And by that, he freed the girl from the rocks at the expense of his own condition. He's by no means a hero or a rescuer; he just knows how precious life is.
Krisha, who was about ten meters away, couldn't hear the last of Evan's words but could figure out what it was after seeing Evan collapsed.
"Damn you, Evan!" She said she immediately grabbed her phone from her pockets and called the rescuers specially assigned for the hunters. Hearing that they will arrive in a span of five minutes, she felt relieved. After that, she rushed to carry Evan and that little girl to a safer place.
Krisha was crying. Her tears are overflowing as she caresses Evan's hairs; she's worried that Evan would die without giving her a chance to confess. "Man, I told him it's not his job. We're just here to assist the soldiers in killing the kuishinbos." She shook her head off and laughed out everything she's been keeping inside. "You're such a wannabe hero, aren't you?" She continued to mourn once again as if Evan's already dead, "But that's what I like about you, so please," She's wiping off her tears with her palms and sniffed, "Don't die, we're still both a virgin remember?"

"General McDermont here from the north. Fulgoant district, what's the situation?" General McDermont is an S-class war strategist from the north, called to General Wilkins, an S-class soldier-general of the south Fulgoant district.
"Sir, we're currently under a rout against the kuishinbos. Rookies are holding us back. Most of them broke the military formation after seeing the Atlas incoming from the outside barrier." General Wilkins replied.
"Atlas, you say?"
"It's Atlas, the last of its visit was ten years ago, it was too sudden, we didn't notice anything before its appearance, except for an unnamed giant, slightly smaller than the Atlas appeared, destroying the barrier."
"And it's path?"
"Straight inwards our district." He rubbed his chin gently, "The Slender also managed to sink in, but apparently, its fist was stuck in the Cloudspire Garrison, and is unable to move. The C-rank soldiers were deployed to seize it." He added.
"How unfortunate, don't worry, we'll be asking for the city lord to aid us. We'll ask for at least five ss rank charlander or at the very least, at least one."
"We just need one. I'll head off to fight."
"You sure? I mean, you're in no condition to fight."
"The city lord's life is more important than mine. We can't waste an SS rank charlander's life."
"I understand, okay, see you, brother!"
"See you."
Wilkins ended the call and went back to what he was doing. He's thinking of ways to keep him out of the battle. He knew that heading to the field in fighting the Atlas and the other unnamed giant will cost his life. He's already 129 years old, already at the peak of his career. He's not weak, but his soul is damage after the last Atlas attack.
Suddenly, a man wearing an all-black tightly fitted suit appeared from Wilkin's back.
"Sir."
"I told you to knock X."
He scratched his head off, "I'm sorry, but I was too excited to tell you."
"What is it?"
"A and E managed to find the source of the attack."
"What do you mean?"
"The attack didn't naturally occur. It was purposively launched by the Syldenn, specifically, the king's counselors."
The general wasn't shocked by what he heard. He knew that the Atlas' sudden attack is by no means a naturally occurring disaster. It was too hasty. It was unheard of. Wilkins sat on his chair and clasped his hands, placing his chin above it. "Do you know why?"
"Same reason, they want people to leave the city, make them slaves, eradicating the remaining people and gather the land's resources."
Wilkins then leaned on his chair and put both of his legs above his table, "Man, what do you think should we do?" He then forced a laugh, "I'm running out of ideas."
"The Atlas will weaken our defense and military; we're expecting an attack from them after we forced the Atlas out or defeat it."
"That's too harsh; however, something is weird."
"What is it?"
"Why it seems the attack is only here and all the kuishinbos are not separating from each other. Instead, all of the kuishinbos kept on attacking this district only."
"Well, what makes this matter worse than previous attacks aside from the Atlas is the other unnamed giant. With both of them as well as other kuishinbos in the weakest district in the Lumiere City, the other districts will be most likely to deploy their strongest units in this district to immediately finish the two giants before it could reach each of their districts, thus weakening their defense."
"I see," Wilkins nods his head.
"Syldenn will then attack the other districts in their weakened state."
"That's too far-fetched plans if you'll ask me; however, it's too hard to counterattack with our current situation."
"It's not too far-fetched if you'll ask me."
"Why?"
"Well, if the two giants are separated in different districts, defending from their attack will be easier, considering that they only have two giants, other districts will be left out. In general, the four districts won't be weakened, making their attack harder."
"I see, basically we're fighting three giants, or four?"
"We can put it that way."
"Damn!" Wilkins slams his hands on the table. " How should we respond? I'm literally running out of choices."
"I guess risking our lives is the only solution," X replied.
"You're right. I'll let the AXE handle the attack from Slydenn."
"You should focus on handling the two giants, with McDermont with you this time. Killing them or at least fending them off will be possible."
"That's true," X then bowed to Wilkins, "If that's the case, I'll be heading off now."

"Vander, what do you think?" Sylve sat down beside Vander as he's preparing his battle gear.
"Think about what?"
"Well, about this?" Sylve smiled as she raised her shoulders.
Vander then stopped what he's doing for a second or two to think and faced Sylve, "If anything, it feels weird."
"Why?"
"I don't know much of what happened or what is happening. But the attack seems too sudden, and it seems to be focused here in this district."
"What do you mean?"
"I think the attack majority of the attack is here, or maybe, it's only here in this district. It's too much to be a coincidence, the giants, the barrier, and all other kuishinbos."
"What do you mean?"
"I saw the sign on your back."
"What do you mean? Oh, the word south?"
I pointed my finger on his back, "Yeah, it's a sign to show that you're a charlander from the south, right?"
She tilted her head sideways as she wrinkled her eyebrows."Yeah, and what about it?"
"I saw someone wearing when I peeked from a window when we were in the HQ in which, if I'm not mistaken, a soldier's uniform with a 'north' word on its back."
Sylve was shocked after hearing that, that she unknowingly stood up and grabbed Vander's shoulders, and shouted, "What?" She then took a deep breath as she rubbed her forehead, "Are you sure?"
Vander was appalled by Sylve's reaction as he frantically stared at her face and realized her beauty. "Y-yes." He answered.
