"Lucia! wake up! you have a class! why are you still in bed!! Lucia!." Her sister Lourie screamed. She's still sleepy and tired, she wants to rest the whole day, but what!? she can't complain because it's her first day of school in 12th grade. she remembers something, (the forehead kiss) silly Lucia so silly of you. (she uttered in her mind)
"All alright! I'm now awake! go out! Lourie! go out pls!" she shouted and trying to avoid her sister whos keep chasing her to wake up.
"You're gonna be late! hurry!" Lourie shouted again in the living room. Donya Dasha was busy cooking their breakfast and didn't bother to scold Lucia.
"Lucia, hurry up your mom will be mad if she finds out that you were late on your first day of school," Lourie shouted again.
"Eat up and go." Donya Dasha said. "Yes, Grandma!" she run so fast luckily shes on time when the school alarm ring.
"You're almost late." Divina's greetings to her..hmm! they were enemies ever since she became a girlfriend of Leo. Leo is handsome and no wonder he became a heartthrob on their campus.
She has never been got jealous of other girls who are flirting with Leo and keep trying their best. He's too much in love with Lucia that's why he's very ignorant to girls, especially to those who are leeches.
"Lucy! so? are you in?" Keanna asks her while they were eating lunch. "No, Leo and I had a date after school, I'm sorry Keanna I can't come...promise! I'll be with you next time," she said and made her assurance for their next adventure. Keanna and their friends will be going to Honesty Store to buy some food and then they will be going to their next destination... Morong Island...The beauty of Batanes.
Morong Beach is no doubt one of the most photogenic and most photographed beaches of Batanes. You won't regret it if you went there, you can catch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. It's the most wonderful thing you can do on the beach, especially on Morong Island. She went home after her class so she can prepare herself before their date. When she was about to go inside their house she already heard her sister's voice. She doesn't mind it and went to her room to change her clothes and put on some decent and simple makeup.
"Lourie, you need to do something..you have to convince Lucia to leave the Philippines and lived with us in Italy." her mother asks for help. Their mother wants them to leave the Philippines and moved to Italy. She doubts that she will convince Lucia to live with their parents. She knew Lucia had an attitude sometimes, but she also doubts doing nothing.
"Mom, you already knew whats her answer incomes on that. Lucia won't leave this country, why don't y'all forget to send us back to Italy." Lourie speak.
"No! I'm still gonna pursue this decision, and the two of you can't decline or complain." her mother shouted and end their call. She wiped her sweat because of fears and inhaled because of frustration. (too much stress) her little mind said.
When she dropped the phone call she saw Lucia walking towards their kitchen. She went to Lucia to talk and tell her about their mother's suggestions.
"Mom called, she wants you to agree with their decision." She said to Lucia while they're eating dinner.
"They already know what's my answer right? why do they keep asking?..." Lucia replied full of sarcasm, Lourie rolls her eyes and continue eating.
"What is the problem with leaving this place and lived with your parents Lucy?" Donya Dasha asks while putting some food in the fridge.
"Lola, I don't wanna leave this place, and that's it," she answered.
When she's done eating she stand up and kissed her Lola and sister cheeks before saying goodbye. She left the house and without hesitation, he went to the beach to meet Leo. Still wearing those smiles that she keeps hiding in their house. Lucia saw a colorful boat floating that was out of reach. A few minutes and she's in the right place Leo told her to go to.
"You're here." Lucia said "Am I late? I ate dinner before I went here." She continued speaking.
"No, I went here also, 2 minutes," Leo said to assure Lucia that she wasn't that super late, she's on time.
"Mom wants us to go to Italy and lived there." she starts talking, Leo faces her and waited for her next words. "But don't worry Leo I already cleared everything to them that I won't leave Batanes." she explained with fear. She doesn't want to hurt Leo that's why she won't leave Batanes.
"You sure? but if you want to live with your parents you can go there," Leo said full of sadness, she knew Leo will do that.
"Leo, I always wanted to be with you. I can't let you lived here alone...what if some other girls will flirt on you and give their bo--.." she stop saying the last words when she notices Leo was smiling at her.
"What's with that smile?" she asks full of curiosity.
"Nothing, I do admire you...everything on you Lucia," he uttered then he hugged Lucia. Lucia can't stop smiling but she didn't expect Leo will kiss her forehead. A simple kiss full of love.
They talk for a couple of hours while Leo is hugging her in the back and they both watch the sunset in the rock formation.
"This is my dream, Lucy." He whispered in Lucy's ears while still hugging her, Lucy giggle and then smiled.
"We both dreamed of this Leo." She answered and turned her back to face Leo. She saw Leo's eyes were looking at her kissable lips while holding her cheeks.
"I love you." He uttered and then kissed her Forehead for the 2nd time. "I love you too," Lucy whispered in the air but she knew that Leo heard it. Without hesitation, Leo kissed her on the lips. She can't kiss him back because she knew it was wrong when she was about to pull Leo away.
Leo started to travel his arms on her body and unlocked her bra, she can't do something because she wants it to. Leo put him down in soft sand while still kissing her, she could feel Leo's desire for her and so she is. She wanted Leo to be her first and last love, so she gave up everything. Her body and soul, because that's how she loves Leo. She doesn't care about everything, all that she cared about was, she wanted to be Leo's first and last girl.
She wanted it to be his first and last girl...forever...
The summer went smooth for both of them. they got a bond with their parents and do some other things they used to do when they were kids. Everything about in their relationship went well and smoothly, nothing change...they still love each other... Lourie had a suitor but then she assured Lucy that she won't accept the man's love for her. Lucy told her that she's not young anymore and at any moment her age will leave the calendars numbers. Lourie laughs at what she said because she believed in God's will and beliefs.

Months passed so fast...
If before they're starting to learn, now they're starting to say goodbye. 6 weeks from now is their graduation and everyone is too excited. Before that, they had a Prom which means they will dance to the random person who is not close to them. Lucia expects she'll be a partner with Leo but it's impossible.
Everyone talks about their soon-to-be partners in the upcoming Gs prom aside from her. She doesn't even put some big deal in that event because she knew she won't pair with Leo. She let the principal do the decisions for their Gs Prom. Some of them didn't agree with whats the principal's decision is. They all want to pick their partners to dance with. But because of sudden changes, they didn't get the chance to dance with their dream partners. The principals announce that they'll be the ones who'll pick each student's partners.
LUCIA'S POV*
While I was walking in the hallway of the 9th floor. I heard a couple of girls talking about something. I walk closer to her those words that the girls were talking to.
"Who's her partner?" a girl asks a random girl while sipping in her drink
"George is her partner." the chinky cheeks girl answered
"what!? She's her partner?!"
"why??? are still jealous Amanda?" the first girl asks the girl who is in the middle of flexing her body.
"yah! Nikki is right, you two already broke up."
"Broke up in unbelievable reasons." a girl uttered
"No! I'm gonna make sure that she'll pay for it! and that girl will not have a perfect partner she thinks for." the girl Amanda said in a serious voice.
grrrrrr...
"They're so insecure! what's wrong with to become George's partner? They have never been in a relationship, why is she acting like she's a girlfriend psh!" I said in my mind while glaring at them.
I dont know why but it seems like they dont like me to be George's partner for the upcoming Prom. Well, George is indeed handsome but to tell them, I dont entertain boys except for my boyfriend Leo... Whatever.
I walk fast and find Leo's table inside the canteen. Leo asks me to have lunch with him when our class ends up. He was busy practicing basketball with his team because next week is the fun run game. While I'm still walking someone grabbed my hands and lead me to sit down. I was a bit shocked but when I saw the man who grabs my hands I felt relieved.
"Hi! you've been very busy these past months," I uttered while staring at Leo's face. Leo put my things on the top of the table and give me a tray of food. Smiled because he's still the same as before. Nothing change...
"George is my partner in the Prom." I open up the topic
"Yup, Levi told me about that. It's okay for me Lucy, pls don't entertain other boys except me....only me." Leo said while looking at my face down to my kissable lips. I got goosebumps because of his looks, If I was a seductive girlfriend? I shouldn't be letting myself control my desire towards Leo's kissable lips.
"The fun run game is coming, hows are the basketball team captain?" I ask him while eating. He looks at me first before he answers my question.
"It went well." Leo smiled full of love, I can't help but to smile and pinch his cute cheeks.
"Have you ever heard about George and Amanda?" I ask
"Hmmm, that cheerleader girl??" he answered in a question. I look at him while nodding my head.
"I remember she was George ex flings."
"Aren't they in a relationship before??" I ask
"I don't know. Why are you asking about it?" he asks
"Someone talk about it when I passed the 9th floor. I got curious also because George was my partner in the upcoming prom." I answered
"Yea, they didn't work because George is a playboy and Amanda is one of a serious type. Still, they don't work," he explained.
After our lunch and small talks, he leads the way and he went to his coach to have the daily routine practice. Before he left he kissed my forehead and some of our friends were shouting. They said something and made me laughing all along.
I'm used to it, teasing me about us.
It was past 3 am when I woke up to change Ely's apparel. Everyone is still sleeping when I went out of my room. My eyes were all open caused by the bulb lights in the living room. The balcony is open and thinking that who would it be to spend the night at the terrace and let the glass doors opened. while drinking my water I walk closer to the veranda to see if someone is in there.
"Lourie?" I ask when I saw her standing at the edge of the railings while sipping a glass of wine.
"Hey," she mumbled still looking at the led lights of the city. I stand beside her and put my hand at the banisters.
"Can't sleep?" I ask.
"Sort of?" She responded.
"Sort of? Hmm, why?"
"I'm afraid to lose the case I'm handling right now." Lourie retorted while forging her finger at the wine glass.
"You won't lose the case, sometimes we need to trust ourselves." I cheer her up, she smiled and leans closer, and places her head on my shoulder.
We remained like that for a couple of moments. We're looking together at the led lights that besiege the whole city. After that, we decided to go back inside to continue the rest hours we still have.
