The scenes began to replay, bit by bit. Every memory boiled down to the beginning, her chapter one.
Her mother; "We've trained you well Sofia. I...I love you both. ...."
Her father; "Run Sofia."
Her brother; " It's safe down here, isn't it?"
Her memory was fading back to the ancient past. Her brain impulse was increasing painfully. She struggled for breathe, a least she felt she was breathing, somewhere, somehow. She was alive. Alive. She could sense it.
Her chest, began to heaven up and down, heavily, as if drowning in the ocean and struggling for breathe. Her mind kept the torment playing on and on, making her body shiver and quiver under what felt like a chain holding down her arms from her palms. She sensed the sweat crawling down from her forehead as if running from the nightmare that was refusing to let her wake up.
Her struggle increased. She wiggled and giggled, trying to break free of the chain she was feeling, bounding her.
