I felt someone sneaking silently past my tent. Her shadow slowly hovered over me where I lay. I had to wake up. I thought perhaps it was an imposter.
Slowly, I grabbed my base ball bat. I always carried one because, fighting... well, isn't my thing. But it's easier to wack someone "nicely" in the head when panicking.
Creeping towards the entrance of my tent, the being was there, about to sneak pass when I surprised it with my swift movement of attack. Holding her hands in fear, she yells whispering;
"Richard....Richard! It's just me, Rose."
I sensed she was happy she called me in time. I could imagine her groaning in pain from the wicked hit that would have landed on her.
"Rose... what the hell are you doing at this time of the night?" I asked in bewilderment.
"Sneaking off of course. You coming?", another voice whispered from behind my tent.
