Desmond could not believe what his mother this time. It was obvious that what she was saying was complete outrageous.
There was no way his powers could match Kill's. He had not even had a good opportunity to test his capability to the level his mother spoke of.
Kill readied himself for the soldiers. They came with their tanks and helicopters. Desmond looked in the distance. Then, speeding faster than the rest were jets. Desmond could not count the jets approaching them. They were like gigantic flies flying very fast at them. They were coming in hard like a swarm of bees as the flew in the sky.
Desmond was sure that they would start attacking. He thought about the civilians around. But then, he concluded that it would be better if they started attacking soon, that way the civilians could make an escape without Kill, paying much attention to them while they escape. By then, he would be too busy with the soldiers.
