Sofia made a run for it. She kumbed down the four long steps of the stairs, and headed for the garden instead of running straight on the pathway in sight.
She tried to run faster than her legs could carry her, and ended up tripping on the grass.
Quickly, she hid behind one of the bushes trying to hide from being seen. Her breathe was uneasy, but she tried to be calm to listen to the silence of the night. No one would be able to see her or even find her so long she remained quiet in the dark night.
Suddenly, she heard someone. Someone was whispering her name, as if trying to call her without being spotted. She tried her best to tread carefully on the grass that caressed her feet.
She was not wearing her foot wear because she had panicked from theast incident with Demona. Her mind was trying to understand what had happened.
