Chereads / Shy Cosplayer / Chapter 4 - Date

Chapter 4 - Date

After the first couple of weeks of having Mr. Reed teach them, the classroom became lively, and was doing their best to learn. That Friday though the class couldn't seem to settle down. "Everyone must have plans this weekend seeing as you are all talking non-stop." Mr. Reed mentioned. One girl then told him, "Mr. Reed sir, surely you have heard of the comic con event being held this weekend. Oh, do you Cosplay?" That question got everyone's attention. He had to think about his answer for a moment since that was like asking him if he had a girlfriend. If he says yes, then they will be asking him a whole bunch of questions and he wouldn't be left alone, if he says no, he would be lying and it would look bad on him if someone found out.

Finally, out of the silence, noticing the teacher's hesitation, "If Mr. Reed cosplays or not, that is completely up to him as cosplaying is for people of all ages. Also, most people don't recognize each other when they are all dressed up, especially since you could even be dressing up as the opposite gender."

Surprisingly, the ever so quiet Emma spoke up and in front of the whole class nonetheless. The room stilled as she spoke, bursting into laughter with the thought of how their tall, handsome teacher would look dressed as a woman. By that time the bell had rung and the class was dismissed. Naturally, what she said was confirmation that she is the mysterious Ciel he wanted to know about.

"Excuse me, Emma, may I have a word?" Mr. Reed asked in his usual pleasant voice. Waving bye to her friends she turned to head to the teachers' desk, "Yes, sir?" "Thank you for respecting my personal life, but are you really not curious if I Cosplay?" Looking straight at her teacher behind the desk, "No sir." Getting out of his chair and walking ever so slowly towards his little student, while she continued to look straight ahead, "Do you like school?" "Yes." "Do you like your friends?" "Yes." Unsure as to why the teacher was asking her a bunch of random questions, nor why he was walking towards her, not daring to look his way, she continued to answer. "Do you like to cosplay as a guy?" he said changing his usual pleasant voice to a deep smooth voice that rang familiar in her ears. Startled to his closeness though, as he was now bending over to speak right next to her ear, his face was just an inch away from hers, turned to look at him as she tried to step back, causing her to fall back, but due to their closeness, it was easy for him to grab hold of her small waist and pull her up, not once looking anywhere else but at her.

With blushing ears, just like at the cosplay event, pushing away from the teacher, "Um, thank you, Mr. Reed, I, um, if you do not need anything else, excuse me." Just as she was about to pass him up, he grabbed her arm, moving in close from behind still in the smooth deep voice, "Have you ever cosplayed as Ciel?" Not knowing how he knew, but hearing his familiar voice, not the one he uses as he teaches, but the one, the one, "Seb..Seb....Sebastian?" Leaning in close to her face once again, "Greetings my little master." Instantly regretting turning around, since now, his face was right in front of hers, noses soo close, it seemed like they were touching. "H....hh...How?", she said while trying to calm her beating heart. Straightening himself up, but still with a firm grip on her arm, not wanting her to run away before they had a chance to talk a bit. "You did pretty well acting out as Ciel. If not for your eyes, I would have never have found you again", he said with a soft smile, content to find out who the interesting mystery person is. "My eyes?"

Wanting to talk to her, in a not so compromising atmosphere, "Could we have lunch tomorrow? We can talk more then." "You are my teacher, I..." "I am a teacher in training for just a couple more weeks and am only 19. I would really like to talk more with you and you can ask all the questions you want. Deal?" Hesitant, but with plenty of questions, "Ok. Where and what time?"
