"Em---Ciel????" Nancy whined as she was losing the battle from keeping her friend from walking out of the event. 'Out of all nights, why did this have to happen.' Nancy was thinking as she continued to try her best, in her restricting Ariel costume, to keep her friend from leaving. Unfortunately, Brittnay wasn't able to make it to tonight's event, leaving Nancy all on her own. Usually, that isn't a problem, but tonight it was. Everything was going well, people were enjoying themselves, Ciel was receiving compliments and talking in character to others who were amazed at how well 'he' performed as Ciel. The only downfall was that Ciel had Sebastian as a counterpart, yet Sebastian was nowhere to be found causing most conversations to be about 'how come your butler isn't here? or 'Did you leave your lovely butler at home?' Then low and behold he showed up. Eyes quickly turned to the handsome butler, who seemed as tall and sturdy as a tree, with his back straight and suit hugging his muscular body.
With plenty of experience now, you could consider Emma to be a pro cosplayer, usually dressing up in characters who don't have a significant other or you could say a 'counterpart'. Why? you might ask, well, she hasn't even thought of asking someone besides her friends to do it and, well her friends' outfits just don't cut it, nor does their acting. Now that there happened to be someone playing her counterpart and a great one at that, she momentarily froze, before excusing herself, with the little mermaid following close behind her.

Fighting thoughts in 'his' head, 'This is impossible, well no it's not, but it can't be happening' as well as the nagging of 'his' friend not to leave, caused 'him' to go out the door that led to the garden instead of the exit door. It didn't matter though, since Ciel was thankful there seemed to be no one outside as well as not wanting to go back, not wanting the chance to run into 'his' characters counterpart, 'he' continued walking towards the garden. Beginning to relax at the calming breeze and, "Oh, wow! (whistling) Hey Sebastian, look! Your Master Ciel is here. Ah, that must have been why you wanted to come here you saw this little guy heading this way as well." Ciel froze, Ariel did as well, for a moment, before turning to meet him, Sebastian, Ciel's counterpart, as well as the man who spoke, who was dressed up as *Gaston. Ariel just glanced at the short guy dressed in an oversized costume and looked Sebastian up from head to toe. 'Now this is a top-notch cosplayer', she thought. "Um, hello. I'm Na-(Ciel nudged her before she could finish her real name)-coughing-I am," "Yeah, I know, the little mermaid, how about we go grab a drink", Gaston said as he easily, despite his looks, took Ariel by the arm and smoothly escorted her away. Ariel was just stunned at how things were going, she did want Sebastian to meet Ciel, but... 'you can do it, just be your character, Ciel', was her last thought before disappearing back into the crowd with Gaston.

Taking a deep breath, unable to avoid him any longer, she gets into character once again, "Sebastian." "Yes, my lord?" For some reason hearing his strong deep voice caused her to turn around. Looking up straight into his stunning ruby eyes sent shivers down her back and just like the attentive butler Sebastian is in the anime, he doesn't hesitate to place his coat over his little master. "Thank you, but I don't remember asking you to attend to me tonight, Sebastian. You may enjoy the rest of the evening to your leisure." "Is that an order young master?", Sebastian continued in character, while taking note of the lovely green eyes before him. "Yes, it is." "Then I choose to be with you tonight my lord", Sebastian says as he slightly bows, smirking as he notices a light pink hue tainting his little master's cheeks.
A slight blush appeared on 'Ciel's face as she wasn't prepared for that answer. In a matter of fact, she wasn't prepared at all for this stranger, other than coincidentally dressing as counterparts, they were complete strangers! 'Listening to his deep, smooth voice and seeing his muscular build hiding beneath his costume, you can easily tell that he was a boy, no, a man, so what in the world would he want with me! This is a comic con event a couple of towns away, no one should know who Ciel is underneath the mask!' Emma was mentally screaming to herself, panicking. 'Breathe Emma, just breathe, just handle him like everyone else, you can do it!' Fake coughing, "I had my fun and am to retire for the night." Taking off Sebastians' coat, "Thank you once again Sebastian for being a handsome (cough), an attentive butler." She passed him his coat, which he took without making a fuss, and ran off into the crowd quickly like a little rabbit with red ears, causing Sebastian to look off into the distance laughing at the encounter, 'Who would have thought I would have met such an interesting person at a cosplay event?'
