In the morning, Serai woke up with the sounds of birds chirping at her window. She raced out of bed excited to see lunar again.
"Morning!" Serai looks back to see her mom.
"Morning mom, um, can go on a walk?" Serai asked.
"Where are you going?" Lessa asked.
"J-just to walk around town," Serai stuttered. 'I still haven't made up an excuse to go into the forest, I'll have to make one up later.' She thought.
"Okay just be back before diner," Serai's mom said
"Ok, I will," Serai said as she ran out the door. 'I can't wait to go back!' She thought.
When she got to the clearing, she felt disappointed when she saw that he wasn't there.
"Oh," she said out loud. 'Of course he isn't here! it's not like he would be waiting for me. It was just luck that we bumped into each other yesterday. He probably has things to do other than just sitting in a field.' Serai felt stupid for thinking he would be here. she was about to leave when she heard a voice above her,
"Hey, you looking for me?"
Serai looked up to see lunar resting on the tree right above her.
" N-no!" she replied, embarrassed. Lunar smiled at her with amusement. Serai could tell that he saw right through her lie.
"What are you doing in a tree?" Serai said, trying to change the subject.
"I was waiting for you," he said, without hesitation.
"W-wait, really? how long were you waiting?" She asked, surprised yet happy that he wanted to meet up as well.
"Not long, just since dawn. Do you want to go for a walk? I can show you around," he offered,
"Sure!" Serai agreed, barely able to keep in her excitement. He jumped off the tree and landed gracefully on the ground next to her.
"let's go," he said, taking her hand.
They walked through the forest for some time, just talking, till they got to a gorgeous lake with a boat at the rim of it, he hopped on the boat but Serai hesitated. When Lunar saw that Serai was doubtful, he held his hand out to her,
"come on," he said. She hesitated for a second but then grabbed his hand and jumped on to the boat. They went all the way to the center of the lake then stoped.
"Wow, it's beautiful out here!" Serai said in aw
"I know, it's my Speciale place, I go here when I'm down or stressed, I haven't really shown anyone this place yet,"
Serai looked at him, "W-why are you showing me this?" She stuttered, Luner stopped and looked at her for a few seconds before responding.
"because I feel like I can trust you,"
"I can, can't I?" Lunar said, still holding eye contact with Serai.
"Of course!" She replied. Lunar grinned at her. after some talking and laughing they went back to shore and strolled back to the clearing.
"I had so much fun! thank you for showing me the lake." Serai said as she hugged Lunar.
"I had fun too, I'm happy you came." Serai let go of lunar and waved bye before heading home. She opened the door to her house to see her mom in the kitchen making dinner.
"Hey mom, I'm back!" Serai yelled as she stepped into the door to take her shoes off.
"hay, how was you walk?" her mom asked.
"It was excellent," Serai thought back to when she was with lunar on the boat. 'It was amazing!'
"Well dinner will be ready in about ten minutes!" Said her mom
"Okay, I'm gonna go to my room, call me out when dinners ready," she said running to her room. When she got to her room, she lied down on her bed and thought about her time with Lunar on the lake till she heard her mom call her out for dinner. After diner Sarai headed to her room but stayed up thinking about lunar, and meeting him tomorrow.
