There shouldn't be much going on after our lunch at Laguna beach. Except for the fact that Jono was a little angry with me for still trying to mention Karen.
Okay, maybe when we were just friends, the issue of Karen, Jono's ex-girlfriend, wasn't a problem. However, after our relationship has grown one level closer then I feel the need to know or just make sure.
"Unfortunately I can't say anything if my feelings for Karen are more like fear. That's if you want to believe it." Those words became Jono's last sentence before we parted in front of Anna's big house door.
I suddenly felt very guilty.
"Why is your face bent like a crooked surfboard?" whispered Anna when I accidentally passed the tomboyish girl in front of the kitchen.
"It's not important. Don't mind me today." I replied rushing into the room.
