For a while, Jonathan wanted to make peace with his stifling passion and chose to be friends with Anggi as usual. Stepping back a few times to still be able to watch Anggi's behavior without feeling uncomfortable when they were together.
Anggi is more comfortable with Jonathan's treatment like that. Like the old days when he never brought up his special feelings in public. Quiet and peaceful.
Even though it is stifling, it is better than Anggi who stays away from him. It's like digging one's own grave. It's the same as closing the window in the morning while the sunlight is very beautiful to look at.
"Mbokya, if he appears, he says excuse me first, don't make me feel heartbroken." Anggi hissed when Jonathan caught him sitting alone under the guava tree behind the school.
