Chapter 1 - 1: Twin Sister From Another Mother

"What !? No - No"

Sterling palmed her face in shock.

"Mom? What's she talking about?"

Blair is directly looking at Debbie, with brows arched as a sign of confusion. She knew she'll never get an answer from Debbie so she looked at her dad.

"Dad?"

She opened her arms as a signal to Anderson that she's waiting for an answer. Anderson bit his lip, took a big sigh and looked at Debbie, who's still crying while pointing her shotgun directly at Dana.

"Hello !? I'm shot !?"

Everyone looked at the man who's lying on the floor, Dana's shitty boyfriend. Bowser pointed his gun at the guy, cuffed then took him.

"Dad?"

Blair is still waiting for an answer, that she knows she's not gonna get, for now.

"Sterling come here!"

Blair took Sterling's wrist then took her to Bowser's car.

"Blair II - alkdjadniw"

Sterling's blabbering, because she's still in shock. Blair closed the backseat door where they're sitting.

"Listen to me, Sterl. We will always be sisters. Twin sisters. You just came out of our mom's twin sister. See? We're still twins"

Sterling looked at Blair who's waiting for her to speak.

"Y-yeah. Yeah. I could - I could deal with that."

Sterling can't cry. She's overwhelmed with emotions and shock and questions. They both looked out of the window when the police arrived. Dana is being put in jail.

Debbie, Anderson, and Bowser are talking when the police left.

"Holy shit! They're gonna know that Bowser is a bounty hunter!"

Blair is now in a panic.

"W-what? Why? How?"

Sterling is still confused, her mind is far away from wherever they are.

"Shit they looked at us! Hide!"

They both ducked.

"Wait, why are we hiding?"

Sterling still full of confusion but she follows what Blair is doing because Blair is the only one that makes sense to her now.

"I - I - why are you hiding?"

Blair asked her back. Suddenly, the driver's seat door opened.

"Girls. I will get you home now. Okay?"

They sighed in relief when they heard Bowser's voice so they sat back on their seats.

"Did you tell them about bounty hunting? Did you tell them that we're on your team?"

Bowser rolled his eyes at Blair's question.

"First, I did not tell them that I am a bounty hunter. Second, they will never know you're on my team."

The twins took a big sigh. Blair is relieved that their cover isn't blown, as if a spy dodged a bullet. Sterling, took a big sigh because now that her mom is actually her aunt, she's seeing the family that she grew up in, in a totally different way.

"Third,"

Bowser broke the silence that made the two look at him.

"Are you okay baby girl?"

He's looking directly at Sterling. Blair looked at Sterling, waiting for her to answer Bowsie.

"Yeah, I guess so."

She looked down on her hand and tried to play with her nails.

"You know what? You don't even look like her. You look more like mom. Our mom. You're her favorite and I'm sure she loves you so much--," Blair's eyebrows crossed again. "--more than she loves me."

Confused with her own sentence, she shrugged it off, like she's telling herself that that's not the point.

"Do you remember in third grade, she told us she's gonna make us a ham sandwich for lunch, and then you got the ham sandwich and I got the peanut butter sandwich !?"

Sterling laughed when she remembered how angry Blair was when they got home and told their mom.

"Do you remember what she said?"

Asked Blair.

"Yeah. You told her, 'where was my ham sandwich !?'"

The two laughed because Sterling made an impression of Blair's third-grade-angry-face.

"Yeah! And she was like, 'Blair, you should learn to give to others especially your sister. I love you both so much but a responsible older sister should always take care of her younger sister.'"

They looked at each other.

"Yeah. That was fair."

Sterling finally agreed.

"She always put you first over me. Always has and always has been. But, works for me. Less attention, less expectation. It's enough for me to know they love me, they love us. But so you know, you have to take care of your kidney because I am not going to donate it. I want to die with my organs complete and intact. "

Bowser, silently listening to them shakes his head in awe.

"I should really stay hydrated."

Hydrated. Shoot. The water bottle. Lock-in meeting. April.

"Bye, Sterl."

Once again, Sterling took a big sigh. Her heart is crumbling like paper. Now her tears are starting to run down but she tried to hide them and wipe them away using her forehand.

"Oh my God!"

She looked at Blair when she heard her scream.

"What?"

Blair looked back at Sterling with tears in her eyes. With a wide freaking smile.

"It's Miles! He wants to talk!"

Blair happily hugged Sterl. The latter is so happy for her sister.

"Holy crap. We're gonna makeup, we'll be together again! Oh, sweet Jesus! I miss his smell!"

Sterling, can't help but miss April.

Her lips.

Her smile.

Her kiss.

Her smell.

Her skin.

"Honey"

Debbie hugged Sterling so tight. She knows Sterling is in shock but she's scared to let Sterling think negative thoughts and doubt herself.

"M-Can I still call you mom?"

Asked Sterling while they're hugging each other.

"Oh, sweetheart. I am your mom. No one else could be your mom. Okay? And you, are Sterling. You are our daughter. You are sisters - twin sisters."

Debbie softly touched their chins while smiling.

"See? I told you we're still sisters and twins."

Blair happily told Sterling. She smiled so wide. She's never been this happy to be a part of this family.

"I can't even imagine my life without you. I mean, who's gonna let me borrow a bra and never return it and doesn't get mad?"

Sterling laughed again. Anderson and Debbie hugged the twins. They looked at each other with a genuine smile. Their hands intertwined with each other. Anderson kissed Debbie on her forehead with a sigh of relief because the husband and the wife know that this night just made their family ties stronger than ever.

"Okay, can we please face the fact that you guys still didn't answer my questions last night?"

Typical Blair, asking questions and gets paranoid when they're not being answered.

"Okay, honey. First of all, we are having breakfast. I don't think it's appropriate to talk about that this time."

Blair's brows arched once again because of disbelief.

"A-actually, mom--" Sterling slightly smiled then reached for her nape. "--I want to know. I think I deserve that."

Debbie silently put down her tea, took the napkin out of her lap, and damped it on her lips before saying anything. Anderson reached for Debbie's hand that is resting on her lap, which made her look at Anderson. She took a big sigh.

"Okay, I'm going to make it short and precise."

Sterling and Blair are waiting for the answers while Anderson enjoys himself chewing his food, but it is making an annoying sound. The three girls looked at him.

"What? I'm just eating my food."

Debbie rolled her eyes. The twins looked back at Debbie.

"Dana showed in our old house carrying you. Blair was just a month old. She told me she can't take care of you so she wanted me to take care of you as my own. Dana was a mess. I mean, she still is. But I don't know who your father is. That's it. "

Sterling isn't bothered anymore. She's a Wesley and will always be a Wesley.

"Are you going home right after school?"

Asked Blair while she's driving to school. Sterling's mind is still in the wind.

"Y-yeah. I guess. I don't have much to do."

Blair looked at Sterling with worry.

"It's gonna be okay. I know it's hard for you to walk around and see her in every corner but you have to be strong."

Sterling looked at Blair.

"Yeah. I just have to be strong."

Blair looked at her again, not convinced by how Sterling said those words.

"Or you can pretend you hate her again until it comes true."

Sterling looked at her.

"II-can't do that."

Sterling looked in the side-view mirror when she saw that they're approaching the parking lot.

"Just pretend. Okay? Act tough and doesn't care about her."

The last piece of advice from Blair before they step out of the car. "By the way, you have to take an uber later. I'm gonna meet with Miles. It's our make-up date. Or probably make-up-then-make-out-date."

Sterl just nodded to Blair.

"Incoming."

She whispered to Sterling as she saw April approaching them. Sterling's heart is pounding just the thought of hearing April's voice. She's directly looking at April while walking and is ready to stop whenever April greets her but to her dismay, April didn't greet her, or even called her name, or even took a glimpse of her.

Sterling stopped and turned around, chasing April's back by staring at her.

"Hey, Luke!"

Sterling turned her back before she sees the flirting that is about to happen.

"How is she doing that? I mean, that would be so hard for a gay woman to flirt with someone who's not even on her menu."

Whispered Blair to Sterling while walking towards the entrance.

"Shhhh someone might hear you."

Sterling dropped her bag then turned her face down the table. She kept taking deep breaths, assuming it would heal her aching heart.

"I told you to save me a seat beside you"

She heard the voice she's longing to hear, but she kept her cool and decided to only move when the bell rang.

"I'm sorry, Hannah B is already here when I came in. I wouldn't wanna sit beside--"

Ezequiel looked down at sleeping Sterling. April doesn't even need to turn her back to know who that girl is because even her peripheral vision can recognize her instantly. But for the sake of pretending, she looked around and rolled her eyes.

"Fine."

April walked towards the seat and silently settled herself. She wouldn't want to wake Sterling up. But when she sat down, she noticed that Sterling is facing her side. She can't stop but take a stolen glimpse of sleeping Sterling.

The bell rang. Sterling opened her eyes, shown no emotion when her eyes and April's eyes met. She had it all planned out. She has to be strong. She needs to be strong and not crack when April's around. Even when she smells April's natural body scent. Maybe it's for the best.

"So, kids settle down. I know you had fun at the lock-in, but we're gonna be doing something different today."

Sweet Ellen took her marker and wrote something on the board.

"Self-Reflection"

Ellen turns around and capped the marker. She walks towards the first row and paced back to her table.

"I want y'all to partner up with your seatmate and discuss a specific bible verse that feels personal to you and how you could relate to that."

Murmurs started, some groaned.

"I know, I know it sounds boring. But this is going to be a lot of fun getting to know more about your seatmate and maybe make a bond. Find things you can both relate to."

April kept looking at Sterling, who's silent and timid.

"Uh,"

April raised a hand to ask a question. Ellen immediately responded.

"Yes, April?"

April stood up and looked around. Trying to find someone else she can partner up with.

"Uh, does it really need to be with a seatmate? Can I partner up with someone else? Like, Ezequiel."

Ellen felt that April and Sterling are still not on good terms but the teacher will never give up on bringing them close again.

"No, April. That would be unfair to your other classmates. So, that's fate. Embrace it."

Ellen answered in a usual gentle tone. April looked at Ezequiel and Hannah B. He shrugged his shoulder then turned around to talk to Hannah B. She violently sat down in her chair.

Sterling slowly turned around, owning that 'I don't care' thought just to keep her heart from beating so fast. April still feels bad about what happened between them. She wants to be with Sterling so bad. But she cannot let her feelings for her blow up her cover as a straight woman. Sterling reached for her hair and is now tying her hair into a ponytail. April looks away, trying to stop herself from staring at Sterling and be mesmerized by her beauty. The hem of Sterling's sweater sleeves went up below her elbow and it showed her bruises from the kidnapping. April's eyes widened but her brows are crossed.

"What is that?"

Letting her guard down, forgot about the world, her worry about Sterling went from zero to a hundred. She quickly grabbed Sterling's elbow to have a better look. She turned the wrist around and it goes all the way. She took the other arm and saw that both of Sterling's wrists have bruises.

"What happened to you?"

With confusion and worry and fear drawn all over her face, Sterling's and April's eyes met. But the reality hit them again. Sterling slowly took her hand then covered it again with the sleeve of her sweater. April composed herself again.

"Yeah. None of my business. That's what I thought."

Sterling kept silent.

"We can at least pretend that we're talking."

Suggested by April, because Ellen is making rounds.

"Do you remember when you talked to me about Ruth and Naomi? I read it again and, I never thought I'd say it but you were right."

Sterling looked up at her from looking down the floor but her body is facing April.

"Yeah. Told you."

Sterling finally said words.

"Okay! I'm coming. I'm leaving school now."

Blair cut the line then walked up to keep up with Sterling.

"Are you sure you'll be fine?"

Sterling looked at her.

"Yeah. I'll be fine. I'm not scared of anything anymore. I guess the kidnapping was the scariest moment a human being can be in. So, I don't care. I have my gun."

Blair's eyes widened when she heard what Sterling just said.

"You have what !?"

She grabbed Sterling's arm and dragged her somewhere.

"Why did you bring it?"

Sterling tried to calm Blair down.

"Don't worry, safety's on."

Blair looked around.

"Holy Shit! You really have the guts! I'm so proud of you!"

Blair reached for Sterling and hugged her.

"Oh, thank you!"

Blair's phone rang. She immediately took it from her pocket.

"Oh! It's Miles. I really should get going. Are you sure you'll be okay? Please don't get into mom's car again. Make sure she knows our pet's name before hopping in! I don't want you to get kidnapped again. I love you! "

Sterling smiled at Blair.

"Love you, sis!"

Blair ran away.

"No, not that skip. I don't want to see that asshole's face."

Yolanda stared at Bowser. She took her mug with a coffee on her countertop.

"Well, you have to deal with that asshole because that is thirty grand."

Bowser looks up at Yolanda with awe.

"Thirty grand?"

Yolanda confidently took a sip on her mug looking like a Goddess just living her life.

"Uh-hmm"

She answered.

"Really? Hahaha"

Bowser combs his beard while looking at Wilson Jeffers. An ex-cop who used to be on the same precinct as him. He's an asshole who used to make fun of him back in the old days.

"I got a tip that he's hiding in his stepson's bar here in Atlanta. The bar's name is El Bonito"

Bowser looked back at Wilson's mugshot.

"Hahaha. I'll get you motherfucker."

"Hi!"

An extreme awkwardness between Miles and Blair is starting to spike.

"Should we order first? What do you want to eat?"

Blair's mind is not on the food yet. She's dying to know what Miles wants.

"Hey, are you ready to order?"

They both looked up at the waitress. Miles looked at Blair who's looking at the menu but cannot wrap her head around these foods.

"I'm sorry, uh can you give us a minute?"

Blair politely asks the waitress.

"Yes, sure. Call me when you guys are good."

Blair smiled at the waitress as a thank you. Miles is confused.

"Okay, Miles. You asked me if we can talk. I am here so let's talk."

Miles blinked a thousand times. He's not prepared. He's not ready but his heart is pouring out.

"I-I-uh, okay. Whoo. Listen, Blair."

Blair is all ears, though, his opening is condescending.

"I'm listening."

Said Blair.

"I thought about you last night. I-I mean I thought about you every night, day, hour, minute. I-I'm sorry that I hurt you. I didn't tell my parents about you because I want to be confident that I know you before I introduce you to them. "

Blair's eyes are forming into cute little hearts.

"Okay. Understood."

She slowly nodded.

"I guess what I-- what I'm trying to say is that I love you, Blair."

Blair's eyes narrowed and her forehead crumpled.

"Wait, is that? Is that a lyric from one of Usher's songs?"

Confusion is drawn into Miles' face but with a smile.

"What?"

He chuckled.

"No, nothing. What did you say again?"

Blair clearly heard what he said. She just wants to hear it again.

"I said, I love you."

Blair took his hand.

"I missed you, Miles Miles!"

Miles stood up and scooched over with Blair.

"I missed you Blair Bear."

He kissed Blair's forehead then they decided to order because Blair is now in the mood to eat.

"Is that Sterling?"

Hannah B. broke the silence inside her car. April quickly looks up at the street.

"Why are we slowing down?"

Hannah B looked at her through the rearview mirror.

"Can we help her? Give her a ride?"

Hannah B looked back at the street where Sterling is walking. April put on an annoyed face and rolled her eyes.

"Fine! But only because she's a woman and walking alone in the street is highly dangerous. Especially for a teenager like us. And also, she's a fellow Christian but that's it."

Hannah B nodded her head, smiled then slowed down the car. It is hurting April to keep her feelings from Sterling in the closet together with her but in her point of view, it's for the best.

"Sterling!"

She kept on walking. It seemed that she was out of this world.

"Hey! Sterling!"

The car kept up with Sterling, mindlessly walking. April took her back off the rest. She's now super worried about Sterling.

"Beep! Beep!"

Sterling jumped when she heard the noise. She finally looks around and then noticed a car keeping up with her.

"Hey, Sterling!"

Sterling stopped and recognizes that it is Hannah B.

"Why are you alone? It's not safe. Do you need a ride? I could drop you off somewhere near your house."

Sterling smiled.

"Are you sure?"

Hannah B smiled back.

"Yes. Come on!"

She was about to open the door when she remembered to ask a question before entering a car.

"Wait wait. I need you to answer this. Who is our fellowship teacher?"

"Ellen?"

Said Hannah B with confusion.

"Are you asking me or telling me?"

April doesn't know what's going on but Sterling is like a different person. She knows that something's off, with her.

"Ellen. Why? Is that a kind of stranger danger thing?"

Asked Hannah B when Sterling is finally seated on her passenger seat.

"Yeah. That kind of thing."

Hannah B looked at Sterl.

"But I am not a stranger. We go to the same school. We talk ..."

Hannah B tries to think of times they had a conversation.

"Never."

Hannah B is amazed that they don't talk at school. The two girls out front looked back when a phone started to ring.

It's Luke. Luke is calling April but she declined the call.

"Who's that? Your mom? Tell Mrs. Stevens I'm gonna bring you home in one piece."

"Yeah. Yeah."

April's heart is pounding. She didn't answer Luke because no one else is around. She knows she doesn't need to pretend around Sterling. She will only get hurt if Sterling would know that Luke was calling her. It hurts her as well when Sterling is hurt.

"She's in there this whole time?"

Whispered Sterling to Hannah B. The latter just nodded.

April knows that she only needs Luke with people around. Making them think that they're a thing. But her heart really belongs to Sterling. A big sigh could turn the embarrassment go away. Sterling rests her head on the headrest and now thinking about April all over again. That night was supposed to be magical. But it turned into the darkest nightmare. Today, the universe has an annoying way to make it impossible to stay away from April.

"You can drop me right there"

Hannah B turned the car to the side.

"Are you sure this is the nearest place I could drop you off?"

Sterling nodded.

"Thank you so much Hannah B. Bless your heart!"

Sterling was about to get out of the car when Hannah B grabbed her hand. Sterling stopped then looked back at her.

"Whatever it is that is bothering you, just be strong, Sterling. Everything will be alright."

Sterling nodded then gently smiled.

"That is so kind of you, Hannah B. Thanks! And thanks again for the ride! Drive safely!"

Sterling waved goodbye to Hannah B without even looking at April in the back. But she knows that this whole time, April is looking at her. She can feel the weight of it.

"Actually, I have an errand to run, so please drop me off right there"

Hannah B is confused.

"In a laundry shop?"

April is caught off-guard.

"Yeah. Ours broke. So I had to do it there."

Hannah B is still confused. April is willing to make cheap alibis just to talk to Sterling.

"Okay. I will wait for you."

"No. Just go. I'll call my dad and ask him to pick me up. You go home. I'll be fine."

Hannah B can't help but worry. She looked back at April Stevens.

"Are you sure?"

April just nodded as an answer. "Well, take care and see you--"

She hopped out of the car.

"--tomorrow"

Hannah B's voice descended when April just walked away. She just took a big sigh then drove again.

"Sterling"

April had to walk fast to keep up with Sterling. She can't help but feel worried about her. She seems off and bruises like that don't just show up. It looked like she was tied or something.

"Sterl."

She once again grabbed Sterling's arm. Sterling turned around. She once again is spacing out. She's like a walking zombie.

"April? What? -" She looked around, looking for Hannah B that is nowhere to be found. "-What are you doing here? Where's-- Where's Hannah B?"

April gently dragged her under a tree.

"Not important."

April reached for the strap of her shoulder bag.

"I want to know if you're okay. You seem--" April looked at Sterling from her eyes, down to her neck, her body, back to her eyes. "--off."

Sterling took a big sigh. Her maxilla is now going numb from that moment of silence and when April thoroughly looked at her but she shrugged it off. She shook her head and smiled.

"I'm fine. I'm just tired, April. You should go."

As Sterling was about to take a step, April took her arm.

"What happened to you? Come on, Sterling I'm worried about you. I'm scared that something bad might have happened to you"

That soft, angelic voice is like music to Sterling's ears. But she can't just tell April what happened.

"Oh, you're referring to my bruises?" She looked above them, to the tree. Thinking of things she can make up to ease April's mind without telling her the truth.

"Blair--" She had no idea why she said it. She will have to apologize to Blair for using her in this situation. "Yeah. Blair tied me into my bed last night because I wanted to run back to you and convince you that we can secretly be together. She just didn't let me because she said I'm losing my mind and that I should sleep and really think about my decisions and actions. "

April's face softens. Her heart jumped out of its cage when she heard how badly Sterling wants to be with her. But, she still can't. Sterling does not deserve that kind of relationship.

"Sterling, you don't know how much I want to be with you, but you're worth more than that. Besides, I really really need to take care of my family right now."

Sterling just nodded, felt rejected again by April, though that wasn't intentional because she just made that up as an excuse but still hurts that April rejected her once again.

"I know. Besides, I'm dealing with family matters too, right now. So now I know that it wasn't a great idea."

April looked at her eyes, then her lips. They're like magnets that want to pull together but there's a hard metal between them that keeps them apart.

"Sterling !?"

A car stopped. Sterling walked towards the car.

"How was your date?"

She joyfully asked Blair.

"Went great. Miles and I are back together now and we just had sex. Makeup sex."

Sterling rolled her eyes.

"Maybe we should really implement those boundaries."

Blair can't help but look at April.

"Oh, right. Can we give her a ride home?"

Blair is in a good mood so she just agreed. Sterling went back to April and told her that Blair and her will give her a ride home. Sterling sat at the passenger seat while April sat on the back. Awkward silence is killing Blair.

"So, are you guys back together?"

Blair innocently asked.

"No"

Sterling and April answered in chorus.

"Do you think she's gonna be okay? I mean, our daughter might be in shock. I think she should take a break from everything."

Suggests Debbie to Anderson. She paces back and forth in the kitchen, worried sick about Sterling. Anderson put down his glass of wine.

"I think we should ask her that. We can't just decide for her. Sterling is a big girl now so maybe this kind of thing should be discussed with her. I mean, she loves that school so much. I don't think she will agree to take a break from it. "

Debbie took the last sip of her wine.

"Yes."

Anderson and Debbie are in shock. They looked at each other, with Debbie's eyes widened.

"Okay, that was, quick."

Anderson replied. Blair rubbed Sterling's back with worry in her eyes.

"Are you sure about that? Aren't you gonna miss our fellowship friends?"

Sterling looked at her.

"I will, but I think it's best to just think about myself for now. I think I'm gonna need a week."

Blair kept rubbing her back. Debbie reached for Sterling's hand.

"It's okay, sweetie. I will talk to your school tomorrow and ask for a week off. Okay?"

Sterling nodded. Her eyes widened when she remembered to say something.

"Oh, mom dad I will still work at Yogurtopia. You know, just to keep my mind off things. Besides, free yogurt and an unlimited combination of toppings help me relax so I would like to keep working while taking a break from school. That's okay, right? "

Anderson and Debbie looked at each other. It's like they're talking with their eyes. Debbie looked back at the girls then took a deep breath.

"Yes. I suppose that's alright."

The Wesleys went to their dining room for dinner.

It's a beautiful sunny day to get a new assignment for the bounty. The twins are excited to do it again after they thought Bowser cut them out of his life and job for good.

"Here's our skip"

Bowser dropped the mugshot along with the files he got from Yolanda. Blair took it with her left hand while her right hand is holding a cup of yogurt with gummy bears and sprinkles on top.

"Wilson Jeffers. He used to be a cop, but got busted when he was caught right-handed stealing drugs as evidence."

Blair put down her yogurt on the desk then took a closer look.

"He looks like Channing Tatum--" Sterling broke the silence.

"--But like, fifty pounds heavier." Blair's eyes widened when she heard Sterling.

"Yes! Exactly. I was thinking the same thing!" Sterling looked at Blair. They're both smiling.

"Yeah. Do you remember last year when we watched Magic Mike for the first time? I fell in love with his abs. He's so magical"

Bowser shook his head, whispering to himself, here we go again.

"Oh my God, that movie! Sometimes I wanna ask Miles if he can dance before we have sex to like--"

"Woah! Woah! Woah! No teenage sex talk around me okay?"

Bowser had to cut it because he just had enough. These girls are being ridiculous.

"Sexist!"

Blair called him out. Bowser got confused.

"Sexist? You're calling me sexist?"

He's smiling and shaking his head at the same time.

"Yeah! Do you think women aren't allowed to talk about having sex? So men can just talk about it all the time without being shushed?"

Bowser stood up.

"You know what, I'm out of here. Tomorrow, we go to that bar, El Bonito. We got a tip that Jeffers is staying there since his stepson owns that bar. We'll do a stakeout. And no sex talk okay? "

The girls just nodded. Bowser left them in his office. Blair is busy with her yogurt while Sterling is still thinking about a lot of things. Mostly about April.

"Ugh! I need a distraction. I'm really really glad that we have this kind of job."

Blair is finished with her yogurt. She leaned closer to Sterling.

"You know what, I have an idea. Why don't we do a stakeout ourselves? I mean, it's clearly safe and at a distance. No one will even know that we're doing a stakeout and that we're there."

Sterling's eyes widened. Her adrenaline kicked just thinking about the adventure.

"Really? You think it's safe?"

Trying to get a more solid assurance from Blair she asked the question.

"Yeah. We did stakeout for twice now, and let's do our third alone, then do the fourth tomorrow with Bowser."

Sterling once again smiled.

"Yeah. Then we could also predict what his moves are gonna be like. Right?"

They nodded to each other. Jumped out of their seats in excitement.

"Oh, we still have two hours to finish our shifts."

Disappointment in Sterling's voice can be heard.

"Ugh! Why is the time so slow today?"

Sterling looked at the fudge pump.

"You know what? I'll go clean up. I'll sweep the floor you get the pump."

Blair looked at the pump and got annoyed when she saw how messy it is.

"Really!? You planned it!? Right?"

Blair yelled at Sterling. The latter just smiled then continued doing her self-assigned task.
