"Uh…" I start to say, wondering if I should follow the rest.

"You may stay as well. I am certain you do not even know what is happening," she further comments, turning her head to me.

"Uh…" I say again, not quite sure what to say.

Lt. Song walks back to the open door of the van, taking a seat. She crosses her leg and her arms.

"Rogue children is the code for children on the street," she starts explaining. "You know of the orphanages, right?" she asks me.

I nod.

"While some people willingly make their way to the orphanages, others being left there, a good number of children actually land there from the streets. We call those children rogue children, the ones who chose to stay and live off the streets for whatever reason. It is part of our duty to catch these children and send them to the orphanages, where they can get a better start at life," she narrates.

So there are people like those. But…

"Why would they do that?" I ask out loud.

"Do what?"
