Leon, appeared like the sun in the middle of the crowd.
There was silence in the room again.
I was looking straight ahead waiting for something.
"Look who came," Luca said.
Heading towards me in quick steps, Leon, with a cold expression, looked at Luca.
For a moment, I thought they knew each other well.
"What are you doing?" Leon suddenly asked.
His dark green eyes flashed a red flame.
Luca put his hand on my shoulder and said, "My dear brother, I haven't seen you in a long time."
Brother?!
Without saying anything, Leon grabbed my hand and pulled me forward.
"Wait a while, don't you want to ask how I'm doing?"
As we stood, a crowd of people started buzzing and talking about something.
"Skye, go away," Leon whispered, and pushed me slightly forward.
"Wait professor, I want to tell you something," Luca said, and at the same moment, Leon grabbed his collar and threw him to the side of the chair with all his might.
"Leon let's go."
"Go away!" he shouted.
"Brother, don't be so mean," Luca said trying to get up.
"What are you up to? What is this? Did you take up the old one again?"
They were completely different, but now I saw similarities between them. And the similarity was a non-human aura and mystery.
"Professor Skyemoone, tell me, did you write such a book on purpose? So, we can finally understand everything? Or did you just write about dreams from a philosophical point of view?"
"Anyway, but now, I know that I didn't live my life all this time."
"They loved the wrong people. Why didn't I think about it before?"
People kept talking and surrounding me.
I was scared because of their looks which were filled with strange colors of new emotions.
What have I done?
But it's good to see people happy, isn't it?
Dizziness, pain, anxiety, and I again lost reality with myself.
"Leon," I whispered but somewhere in the distance, he stood beside a man with a snake's expression.
I wanted to fall, I wanted to run away, but the voice, and again the voice saved me.
"Skyemoone, I am here."
It was Adelard.
I didn't notice us going through the crowd and were already sitting in the car waiting for Leon.
"Who are all these people?" he asked.
I couldn't answer.
"Are you alright? You're very pale."
"These are people who have learned to dream."
"Dreams, goals, and why do I feel so that we are on the verge of some new era? Just imagine a man who dreams and goes to his dream. It's just a utopia."
Noticing that Leon had left the house, I opened the door for him.
"So he is your brother?" Adelard asked.
"Yes," he said.
I knew Adelard wanted to know more, just like I did.
"Since we were kids, we don't get along very well," Leon said.
"He's very handsome. And looks like an aristocrat," Adeard spotted.
"What did he tell you?"
I turned back and looked into his eyes which now were calm.
"He wanted to show me how much the human has changed."
"As always. I knew he was coming soon. It is worth the chaos, or any change to appear, as Luca appears as if out of nowhere."
Changing calmness to ferocity, he said, "I told you not to leave the house."
"I wanted fresh air."
After these words, all the way to the house, we drove in complete silence.
And when Adelard stopped in front of Leon's house, I offered him dinner, but he refused and said that he needed to work on some kind of scientific project.
"Maybe next time," he replied, and on that note, we said goodbye.
On our way home, we were greeted on the doorstep by Dreamer. Loudly purring, he wanted to lie on my lap, but I quickly turned on the TV to listen to the news, and as always, everyone was talking about my new book which became a sensation.
Now, it was a common popularity.
I've become as popular as all the celebrities in this world.
No sooner had I heard what they were saying about me, Leon turned off the TV and sat silently in front of me.
"I'm going to take a shower," I said.
I was calm in my heart.
Today, I saw people and realized that they were not doing anything wrong. They just realized their every life.
Maybe I did something good.
Refreshing drops of water, covered me from head to toe.
Meeting Luca did bring me peace.
Half an hour later, when night fell, I returned to the living room.
It was dark in the house. Dreamer slept on the pillow.
"Leon?"
I checked his room, but he wasn't there.
In total, the house had three bedrooms and one living room. And he wasn't anywhere.
The silence was suddenly replaced by the noise of light rain and thunder.
And then I knew where he was.
Climbing up to the roof, I found him standing on the very edge.
His white shirt was covered with small raindrops which were in no hurry to soften the material of his clothes.
Golden hair in the night sparkled like the sun.
"Leon?" I asked and took a few steps forward.
Even though he was on the edge, I knew he wasn't going to jump, so I didn't take the time to get any closer.
He didn't say anything.
I did come closer, and when I was almost behind him, he turned.
We were in no hurry to say anything. And the next second, the fine rain suddenly turned into pouring rain that created a wall of millions of drops between us.
The thunder sounded so loud that I felt my legs tremble.
The lightning shone so brightly that I had to close my eyes.
And another sound of thunder.
Leon held out his hand to me, but when he stopped, he said something, but I didn't hear what.
I still didn't know what kind of man he was.
When I got back in the house, I felt like I had made a leap in time.
It was like we stood in the rain for several hours and none of us even felt it.
Everything really was so strange that the flow of time began to surprise us.
