I sat in my home with a glass of stupid expensive wine later, not drinking but eyes wandering around anyways.
Everything was weird. I did not feel good at all. My mind was all jumbled up from the information I had consumed earlier and a silly, stupid part of me wished I had not heard any of it. Rae's story.
I had known that my brother was not really a prince charming in shiny armour type of guy but I also never thought he would be one to beat his own damned wife. Why would he want to beat someone as lovely as Rae?
My mind could not just comprehend it all, and funny part is, that was not just all my mind could not comprehend.
I shifted a bit uncomfortably. The deep frown still etched on my face as I stared out into nothing, when really I was supposed to enjoy the view from my floor to ceiling window that showed the whole of Los Angeles to me.
