So, Jonas knew. He noticed I took a while in the shop and came back to look for me. He heard voices and decided to eavesdrop. When I asked him what he heard, he looked at me in askance and asked if I was hiding anything from him. At least, I'm sure he didn't know I murdered my husband. I beseeched for his help to find my daughter and he agreed to help.
Back to the normal routine, except this time there was added labour- Lucas's wedding. I and Jonas had already finished our plans on how to stop it. I hoped nothing went wrong. I was in the canteen working when two familiar women walked up to me again.
"The mayor's son requests your presence outside," one of them said.
I groaned inwardly, 'Not again.'
"Go back and tell him I'm busy," I told them.
"But that's what we're here for. To take over from you if you are," the other replied.
I shot them a glare, "I do not want to see that douche bag. Go tell him that."
