Akihito took Max by the hand as he also stood up. Patting down his tailored suit, Akihito looked at his watch with a worried expression on his face. The two of them started walking along the pavement in the same direction, towards the main area of the town. Max was slightly behind Akihito for Akihito was in a little bit of a rush to go somewhere. After a few moments of awkward silence passed, Max proposed an idea.
"Hey, we should totally hang out sometime this week. It's only Monday and most of my schedule is free. What days are you free?" He said, trying to lighten the mood of the current area, to which Akihito hesitated in responding.
Akihito suddenly stopped his momentum. "Will they be coming along too?" Akihito said in a semi-angry tone whilst pointing towards a group of three people failing to hide behind a bush atop the hill where the main road lay. Max's face was astonished. He had no idea he was being followed by those people until Akihito pointed it out.
"They're just some classmates from Uni. One of which you already know, Violet." He said with a cheeky expression on his face and in a playful tone. Slightly nudging Akihito's side with his elbow. "I haven't invited them to come with us. Do you want me to?" He went back to a serious-ish tone when he saw Akihito's blunt and unsatisfied reaction.

There were three of them. One man two women. The man had messy, light orange hair, with contrasted dark orange eyes. One of the woman had straight, aqua blue hair that reached down to her hips with matching eyes. The second woman had short, wavy violet hair with soft, sparkling violet eyes. All three of them were in their casual clothes, and met up early morning at the cafe. All of a sudden, they saw a familiar red head run on by. It was Max on his daily run, they all wanted to say high, but Max wasn't able to hear them.
"Hey, let's go follow him. There's something you've been meaning to ask him anyway isn't there Vi-chan?" One of the women said in a cheeky tone towards the other women in the group.
"Yes, that's a good idea Danny-chan, let's go! He should be running alongside the river soon, let's take a shortcut." The man in the group said in the same tone but more masculine. Before Violet could even get a word in, the two of them took off, heading towards the river.
"Danny-san!! Mark-kun!! Wait up!!" Violet shouted in a playful tone as she chased after them as fast as she could.

"No that won't be necessary, as I won't be joining you. I'm sorry but I have some things that I need to take care of this week." Akihito said in a monotoned voice as he continued his walking to the town centre, this time at a faster pace.
Max's facial expressions were upset, yet understanding. He formed a fist in his right hand and clenched it firmly. After a few seconds, he released his grip back to a natural position and ran after Akihito once again. Just before he started running, he turned towards Mark, Danny, and Violet and just stared for a few seconds.
"Eek- Do you think he's mad?" Danny said as soon as she saw the glare bestowed upon them from Max.
"I don't know, but who was that guy in the suit? He seems pretty dodgy to me. What do you think Violet-san?" Mark responded with a thoughtful expression.
Violet just stood there staring at the ground. She was acting like a child who was about to confess to something bad that they did. Twiddling her feet with the occasional lifting of her heel.
"Vi-chan? Is everything okay?" Danny said in a concerned tone as she put her hand on Violet's shoulder. "You can talk to us." Danny enforced in a caring voice.
"That man in the suit.... That's Akihito-kun. Me, him, and max went to school together. A lot has happened since then and.... and...." Violet's voice was quiet and inbetween most words she sniffed her nose. She didn't want to finish her sentence. Mark and Danny both understood and decided not to question it further. Instead an awkward silence bestow upon them as they all walked back to the cafe.

Meanwhile, Max was caught up with Akihito, once again stopping him. Max was slightly out of breath once again, but he was quick to recover as he saw Akihito actually give him another chance to speak.
"Akihito-kun. Let me-" As soon as Max was about to speak, Akihito interrupted him.
"You really are still inconsiderate aren't you? Can't you see I am in a rush to get somewhere?" Akihito said in a stern, yet sharp tone. But he didn't even turn around to see Max's reaction. Instead he once again started walking towards the town centre. "Now I really am late. Great, just great!" Akihito thought to himself as he looked at his watch, hoping the seconds go by slower.
Max's reaction was disheartened. He didn't want to try to get a word out again as he knew he was in the wrong. Instead, Max just shook his head and continued his morning run in the opposite direction.
