When the merry company returned to the house, they were met with a hilarious sight. Myorka, who was apparently way less angry now, was covered in pearls and gold, sitting on the porch with her husband.
"You did it, you finally did it," Serenica said to the bookkeeper. "You held your ground with him."
"I have always held my ground with him," Myorka said. "You just have not been paying attention."
The pirates could not stay for long in Aja, even though its shores were the loveliest and even in its maimed state, the island was the most beautiful of all islands. Things were not looking good on the eastern front. They sent a secret message to the Admiral to come meet them just west of the Bridge. The eastern parts of Sennas had to come along and join the war. Those areas were among the most populous, and their support would be crucial.
During the night following their departure from Aja, Serenica received what could only be called a prophetic vision.
