"You scared me," Serenica said as they were aimlessly wandering on the deck and smoking cigars.
She didn't know if it was a smart idea for the captain to smoke right away after recovering from a potential heart attack, but she didn't have the guts to say anything about it.
"Whereas I was perfectly calm through the whole ordeal," he said. "Mother of worms. For a moment I thought my wife would be a widow."
"She will be if you go on with your crazy style," Serenica said before she could catch her tongue. "Have you thought about your future heir?"
"I have. It's partially the reason why I got so upset." Spade stared stubbornly towards the sea.
"She seems to be asleep. Good." Serenica glanced around. "Is there anything I could do to make your life a bit less stressful?"
