Chapter 35 - Chapter 31.

•Y/N POV•

"This is it.." I mumbled, as I reviewed the email that I had printed off from the creepy, secret admirer.

The building was large, and the surroundings were eerie. There was barely any lighting, as this was clearly a rundown part of the city, and any surrounding lights were either flickering, dim or broken. Windows of the building had attempted to be boarded up, however I suspect that drug-dealers and hooligans had forced their ways through, due to planks being on the floor nearby to the broken windows. As for the door... well, it was wide-open, which was worrisome.

Begrudgingly, I made for the entrance, although stopped in my tracks mid-way as a crow cawed, causing me to jump. Looking around for it, I was grabbed from behind and thrown into the building via the slim doorway. I landed on my stomach, immediately rolling over and slamming the heel of my sneakers into the assaulter's shin, causing them to fall and groan in pain.

I slowly got back up, holding the right-side of my hip. It hurt from being violently thrown down previously, so I hobbled further into the building. It did not fail to cause more fear to streak throughout my body. It had a counter, which I had moved past, and went for the stairs round the back. The lighting was dim and some of the stairs were missing, so I had to rely on the creaking banister for support.

However, one of the steps caught me off guard-..

"NO!" I screamed as the assaulter grabbed me by the ankle, causing me to land face-first on the stairs. Their grip was tight and full of malice.

"She's waiting for you." The male stated, his voice monotone and deep. His frame was more on the muscular side, though his face was covered by some sort of mask to link with his suit, which consisted of a body suit, black and white stripes streaking down his length and a mask that had half of black and white, half-faces engraved into the mask. The black side of it was unhappy and the white side was the opposite, happy.

"Let go!" I attempted to kick them off, although I was in agony from having face-planted. I could feel blood trickling down my face from my newly-broken nose and an irony taste engulfed my mouth, suggesting that my tongue was bleeding too, from having chomped on it at the landing.

The man then grabbed my other ankle and yanked me back down, however instead of pulling me down the stairs, he lifted me onto his shoulder and carried me up the stairs. I hadn't noticed his extreme height, which must've been close to 7ft. My futile attempts at elbowing the back of the male's head only led to him squeezing my ankle with an abnormally strong grip, which in turn caused me to let out a wrangled cry.

Once we reached the top of the stairs in record time, he dropped me down onto my feet and shoved me into a room, slamming the door shut in front of me.

"HEY!" I banged on the door, although my focus was more on my throbbing ankle. "SHIT!" I cried out as my foot gave in under me, forcing me to slam into the hard concrete. The right of my hip would most certainly bruise awfully badly.

"Ready for my revenge?"
