They entered the car and took the route to Ariel's house the drive was really silent and no one spoke a word after sometime Tristan decided to break the silence.
"Miss Johnson" he called her.
"Yes sir" she answered.
"I want you to know that I'm not taking advantage of you or anything I just need your help after all of it I'm going to pay you a huge amount of money" he explained. Ariel didn't even know what to say she was utterly speechless she thought about it too and thought this was a lot of trouble for her she had a life to live.
"Sir I know all this but I was just thinking it's not right to lie to your parents why not come clean"
"I have my reasons and I didn't ask you to give me your advice I just wanted you to know" he fired back at her.
"You dont have to be mean about it" she replied in her mind
"Sir I'll think about this it is my life and I know what to do with it I'm sorry it sounds rude but I have to think it through and I'll advice you to do the same" she said the words normally but it sounded harsh to Tristan he wanted to reply her as well but he let it go besides he wants her to co operate with him. Immediately Ariel finished speaking she felt so proud of herself and she was also glad he didn't yell at her she was feeling she had achieved a new thing and her was now beaming with smiles,It was already really late and they were still stuck in traffic, Ariel was sure her mother would have called but her phone battery died so she had no way of reaching her mom the only way was her boss's phone and she was too scared to ask thinking he will yell at her all this while she was feeling restless and was moving every second as if something was pricking her on the seat.
"Would you relax" Tristan said coldly noticing her restlessness he had been watching her and how she moved every second.
"Im sorry sir" she said slightly bowing her head.
"Take call your mom and inform her" he gave her his phone, she was so shocked she stared at the phone for what seemed like seconds.
"Looks like you don't need it" he said drawing it back.
"No..no sorry thank you" she stopped him and collected the phone from him this action made their fingers touch slightly it sent sparks into their bodies Ariel quickly took her hands away, seems she was the only one that felt it but she was wrong Tristan fell it as well but she didn't see any reaction from him meanwhile was suppressing all the urges to scream when they touched luckily he was able to keep a straight face.
Ariel had called her mom who was really worried she explained everything to her scared mom, Tristan didn't have anyone to call he was living alone but if his parents find out that he was not home by that time they'll be extremely worried, it took them alot of time to get out of traffic by the time they were out it was really late they dropped Ariel first her house was closer, then they went straight to his own place they got there quickly and as usual he didn't have dinner this had already been his habit and truth be told it was already so late he went straight to his room to have a shower and soon he was asleep normally it would take him at least some hours before he went to bed because of his night mares, he always sees this woman calling him to come to her he never told anyone except his only friend Noah it was really hard for him some times he took sleeping pills to avoid the nightmare, but this one night he was too tired so he drifted to sleep quickly.
