Su Li had been waiting for his reaction, but Wei Chengfeng kept silent.
"Aren't you going to say something? What do you plan to do? Call off the engagement?"
Wei Chengfeng stood up and walked to her desk, his fingers lightly tapping on her laptop, appearing nonchalant, yet seemingly deep in thought.
After a long while, he finally spoke, asking, "Do you really want to break off the engagement?"
Su Li wanted to nod but restrained herself. The impatience on her face quickly replaced by a smile, "How could I? Our family is counting on you now. If this marriage is called off, wouldn't that be the end of the Su family? I asked you to come up here just to explain things. It's hard to talk with so many people downstairs, right?"
Ignoring her smile, Wei Chengfeng leaned against the desk and said, "Go change your clothes."
"What for?" Su Li was a bit lost, blinking blankly at him.
"Didn't you say we were going to take wedding photos today? Let's get ready and go now."
