Synopsis
This is a fictional story about a half-elf named Nylin Trina that lost her parents and became an adventurous masked rogue. Being used to working alone she joins a party of people for the first time. How well this will work out for her? We'll have to see. This novel contains very little romance Web novel's Female leading genres all add romance to the genre which is dumb so I added a spice of romance to allow, you, the audience to do what I love doing and "ship" characters together. Please enjoy! This novels updates have been changed to one a week. Life sucks and I'm sorry.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Beginning

It is Morne 1553 a little girl at the age of 11 with bright blonde hair like her human father, and bright violet eyes just like her elven mother walks along side her parents in the field just outside her village. They laugh listening to her father boast about all his past adventures. With her mother being an elf and her father being a human this makes the young child a half-elf. This is not uncommon for this village for it is called the Village of Peace. In this village humans and elves live together peacefully and never bicker about their racial differences. This is one of the very few villages in the land of Wkar that believe all races can peacefully live together.

There is only one thing that everyone in the land of Wkar can agree on...Dragons are real. Many worship the dragons, others despise them. The Village of Peace follows the lore that their respected races believe in. Dragons created the world and were the first and only race to live in the land of Wkar. It was peaceful for them, they could make whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. One day they craved something more. Something that would create a challenge for them. So they all created different races. Humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, and many others that still have never been seen to this day. Each race is allowed to create mixed races if they wish therefore allowing the races to mate with one another to make new races. Simple enough right? Well then, the races each believed that they were the more superior race. The dragons didn't like this so they took on a more appealing form creating a draconic race and introduced themselves as the gods. From then on the draconic race was known as a celestial being that was not to be messed with. Knowing this the dragons granted the races the power of magic that they were allowed to make their own. This changed everything for the races. All kinds of spells were made and put into a type of system allowing the races to take on classes in which they would only study specific spells allowing everyone to have different kinds of roles in the world. The dragons realized they made a mistake giving the races the power of creation and magic, for the races were getting stronger. They tried to destroy what they created and realized because they can unite together they could never stand a chance against the races so they went into hiding waiting for the right time to come back.

However, some of the dragons loved the races they created and are still to this day curious about them. The one thing the elves believe that the humans do not is that these dragons that still love us will one day come back and save us all from any harm.

Remember the child? Don't forget about her. Do you see her? What about her family? Her village? Picture it all clearly and never forget about it for its the key to everything in this world. Picture children running in the green grass, parents laughing as they tend to the fields. The happiest little town, a vison of perfect harmony...Gone...You see on Morne 1553 at about 4 days after the gliiwr welun the Village of Peace was no more.

A dragon...

The village's worst nightmare. It flew above the center of the village breathing fire on all the buildings. The little girls parents yelled at her to run as fast as she could to the forest and wait there. She did as she was told, worried about her parents as they ran toward the center of the village hoping to save the children... Apart of the little girl knew her parents could save everyone. How could they not? Her father was one of the best rogues in town. Her mother was the best healer in town. How could they not save everyone? Sadly, this was not the case...

The dragon was unbelievable, bigger than anyone could ever think of. It's giant black wings slicing through the toughest of buildings. It's sharp talons plucking up anyone that dares get close. It's gruesome dark pit of a mouth blasting molten lava everywhere. It's deafening roar echoed throughout the valley. It flew around the village as if looking for something...What could it be looking for? That didn't matter. It was angry and it wasn't going to stop till it found what it wanted.

No one appeared in the woods to meet the little girl....Not even her parents...The town was completely turned to ash...The lone survivor of the great destruction of the Village of Peace was this beautiful blonde haired, violet eyed, half-elf little girl...What was she going to do? After it was all over and the dragon disappeared in the mountains behind her village. The little girl came out of the forest and went into her village. She searched looking for anyone, anything. Only to find nothing but ash...The bodies on the ground were nothing but skeletons all of which looking terrified many were holding one another. She went to where her house would've been and found a box made of metal laying in the center. A miracle that it even survived the wrath of the dragon. She carefully opened it, for it was still hot, curious what could be in this box shes never seen before? How could it have possibly survived? Inside was her fathers cloak and mask it still smelled of him...Wrapped in the cloak was the dagger her father spoke of giving to her. Tears beginning to stream down the little girls eyes she knew she was alone. Her fathers belongings all that left for her was a sign of what needed to be done. Revenge on the dragon. Her mothers voice reminding her that nature is all that one needs to grow and learn...to become strong. The little girls examines the cloak gazing at the pendant that hung at the collar, it was gold with a bright shine. A fancy "T" stood in the center of the the circle made of vines. "T" for "Trina" her fathers last name...She fastened the cloak around her making sure the pendant was fastened tight around her. She then placed her fathers mask in her pocket for it was too big on her right now. Lastly, she takes up the dagger, another fancy "T" carved into the leather bound hilt of the dagger. It was also carved into the scabbard for the dagger. The little girl smiled knowing her fathers spirit will stay with her in his belongings on her very own adventures. She wipes away her tears holding the dagger tight and venturing off back into the forest.

Thus starting off the amazing adventure of Nylin Trina the greatest rogue known to the land of Wkar...
