BEGINNING~
"A commoner is just a commoner nothing more nothing less!" Tear says to herself in bed slapping her face.
"It's not worth the trouble! It's not worth the trouble! It's not worth the trouble! It's not worth the trouble! It's not worth the trouble! Ahhhhh!" Tear yells.
She quickly glances over at her sister.
Bell is asleep as it is late into the night.
"phew." Tear lets out a sigh of relief.
Laying in bed, Tear begins to think.
(Tears Thoughts)
"what if I never become a noble?"
"and even if I do, what's stopping me from becoming rotten and mean one?"
"well I guess just thinking about it will do me no good..."
Her thoughts trail off as she began to fall asleep.
"GOOD MORNING! My princesses, it is time for breakfast!" Mother calls for the girls.
"I'm getting up mom!" Tear says loudly.
Bell awakes as well.
"Huh, is this what we are having for breakfast?" Tear glances at her mom.
A baked potato and some eggs awaited the family's mouths. It was rare to have such a generous breakfast due to money issues.
"Is it strange dear? I just thought some nice food wouldn't be so bad once in a while." Mother explains.
"You're not wrong at all!" Tear smiles.
"Alright, everyone time to prayer!" Father declares.
"We thank our gods, for the food brought here today, we hope to enjoy many more meals on another day." Everyone says in unison.
"Dad, why do we worship gods we can't ever see?" Bell asks curiously.
"Well, that's because it's thought that if you see a god it brings misfortune to you," Father explains.
"Then are gods evil?" Bell tilts her head.
"No, not at all, the only evil things are demons.." Father says.
"What's a demon?" Tear looks up from her plate curiously.
"Demons.. are violent creatures... they well... just know that if you ever run into one try to get away no matter what! Otherwise, it might try and eat you, you got that?" Father shouts.
"Okay, We understand." Tear and Bell say in a frightened tone.
Demons and Gods seemed to be very different but alike at the same time, being that you had to avoid both of them.
Today, Tear plans on going out for Apple picking at her friend, Daisy's. Daisy's family owns an orchard. They don't make too much profit but they keep competitors at bay.
Tear sets off on a wagon after finishing her breakfast and dressing properly. Daisy and Tear have been friends ever since the age of five. The two met at a carnival in a much smaller place than Maybelle. The town was called Faery. Faery is a town in the countryside. Maybelle and Faery are both parts of the kingdom of Flowers.
Daisy was native to Faery on the other hand Tear just had grandparents there that she visited every spring. Every time she visited her grandparents she would go to the orchard as well for her playmate.
Tear arrives at her destination. Daisy is standing at the entrance to the orchard.
"Hey, Daisy how's it going?" Tear reaches out for a hug with a smile.
"Nothing much here how about you?" Daisy says in response.
"Oh well, my family is doing fine, I could use some working though." Tear answers.
"Oh that's right we better get to apple picking!" Daisy grins and hands Tear a large wooden bucket.
The two begin picking apples and chitchat commences.
"Soo...you meet any cute boys lately?" Daisy asks with a smirk.
"What!?" Tear freaks out and drops an apple.
"Oh come on, you know, boys? Your fifteen don't sit here and tell me you haven't met a single boy you like!" Daisy looks a little frustrated.
"Well, I haven't met one I like yet." Tear looks down at the grassy soil.
"Hmmm is that so? Then I'll have to find you some cuties!" Daisy smiles and laughs.
"Ahh, you don't need to do that!" Tear gets flustered.
Before the girls know it it's late afternoon. Tear has to go home so she says her goodbyes to Daisy.
She hops on her wagon home. She falls asleep due to other hard work on the orchard. When she awakes she expects to be home, but something is off, something is wrong. She looks at her surroundings, and the vehicle she in. It's far too classy and well crafted to be a wagon.
"WAIT! How did I end up in a noble's carriage?!" Tear cries out.
