Chapter 3 - : Little Caspian

. . .

"Hey! Caspian!" Someone called as the blonde haired boy whips his head, his thick fluffy blonde hair swinging to the left towards the voice to see a fisherman.

"Yes?" He asked closing the cap of his water bottle as the fisherman approached him.

"Go home after this boy, it's dangerous to surf around this area at the moment." He pats the bare shoulder of the said boy, an accent audible in his words proving he is a local.

"A-Ah, yes sir." He nods before taking his bag, slinging it on his shoulder as he carried his surf board on his other arm. "I'll be going now, sir." He added.

"Alright! Take Care!" The fisherman waves as they finally parted ways. The blonde haired boy climbs up the rock stairs as he stares at the beach below letting out a sigh of relief.

. . .

"I see, you went surfing again?" Christian, Caspian's Dad looks up the small television as the blonde haired boy nods closing the wooden front door as he jingles the house keys he used just now.

"Take a bath then we'll eat after!" Elizabeth, Caspian's Mom exclaimed from the kitchen.

"Okay." Caspian simply nods once again before climbing up the stairs to his room only to be blocked by his little sister in the hallway, he lets out a soft chuckle in amusement.

"So, did you find anything?!" The smaller girl excitedly asked jumping up and down as Caspian fumbles on the pockets of his shorts, knowing that his little sister loves small gifts, he couldn't miss the chance to toss some onto his pockets.

"I only found shells, Eliza." Caspian stated, opening the doors of his room with his small key as the smaller girl trails behind him.

"It's okay!" Eliza pouts as the blonde haired boy takes out the shells he took from the white sand beach earlier handing it to the smaller brunette.

"Now go help Mom." Caspian utters shooing her away, letting out a faint sigh shortly.

Caspian's POV

I stepped out the shower while drying my hair with the towel as i threw my wet clothes on the dryer before exiting the bathroom, climbing up my room again as i closed the door locking it.

I sighed out as i stretched my sore muscles before throwing the towel on my bed as i froze.

'Wait-- Where's my necklace?!' I thought to myself as i panicked quickly shuffling my bag as a blue seashell pendant drops on the floor.

I crouched down to pick it up as i sighed in relief hugging the precious necklace in my hand before lying down the bed as i held my forehead staring at the blue seashell pendant as the light in my room reflected it.

⊱ ───ஓFLASHBACKஓ─── ⊰

"Papa! Can i go swim now?!" A 5-year old caspian calls out his Dad as he grazed his eyes on the clear waters of the beach as his eyes sparkled by the sun.

Without any hesitation the small boy quickly steps out the cottage they rented as he quickly runs towards the sand, His mother and father not aware on where their son is going as the small boy enters the still shallow water.

Half of his small petite body was now submerged into the salty sea water.

Caspian slowly steps forward getting further away from the sand as he finally reached the depth of the ocean he couldn't reach.

His feet slipping away the shallow sand underwater as the water takes over above his head, he struggles and panicked, his feet wriggling underwater as he slowly drowned, his small lungs being replaced by sea salt water as he raised his hand up.

"CASPIAN!" His dad finally noticed as he sprinted towards the drowning boy before swimming towards the blonde haired boy but only to be washed out by a sudden current. "NO--!!" His dad exclaimed before diving under the water.

Caspian's Mom runs as she reached out to the life guards and fisherman alarming them.

After 30 minutes of finding the blonde haired boy, he was finally located at the other side of the island confusing everyone as he was lying on the beach sand unconscious with a strange blue shell pendant looking necklace in his grasp.

Since then.. i always wonder who gave me this pendant.. i don't remember anything when i was underwater for 30 minutes..

Sometimes i really think that someone saved me there.. something.. inhumane.. that's why i treasured this necklace and have always wore it everyday until i find out who gave it to me.

I flinched by the sudden knock on the door as i quickly wore the necklace before standing up the open it to see Eliza again.

"Dinner's ready!" She exclaims running down the stairs as i closed the door before walking down the stairs.
