The way towards the boss room was very perilous as the density of the monster level kept rising until the max of lv. 7, a few, but still a very bad match-up for them.
If Yulsa damage wasn't ridiculous, they must've already died when they'd face a group of goblins at level 5.
Although that was the case, all the work actually came from Handsome when it came to teamwork assist ratios.
He knew how to defend and aggro when needed despite his opposite personality. He was a very versatile one when it came to be a Tank.
IHealYou, on the other hand, wasn't that too hard to protect. She knew how to position herself and dodge every attack that goblins throw at her when their defense has been broken.
She also knew how to fight, hand to hand if his hunch right.
Combining their traits, the trio is unstoppable as they progress towards the boss' room.
"How many potions the two of you still have?"
"I got 3 health potions, 7 mana potions."
"Mine, 9 health potion, 5 mana potion"
"Okay', Handsome give all of your mana potions at Heal. You Heal, give your 6 health potion at him, preserve the three remaining to yourself just in case."
The two exchange immediately without asking.
After their exchange is done, Handsome asks. "How about my skill, brother? I can't use my [Shield Rush] when the goblins rush at me, I don't have mana at all."
"Don't worry, I knew it," Yulsa replied, "That's why we will rest for now to regen your mana's bar."
As the trio rest outside the big door, made of dirt, Yulsa devices his plan and strategy for the two.
"Okay, our tactics will change. I'm going first to kite some goblins and kill them to reduce what many goblins inside. But If I mess-up by accidentally aggroing the boss outside, I want you to forget all about that plan and focus to defend, while I do my best to kill everyone, to the last of them.
He shifts his focus to Handsome.
"Handsome, I want you to preserve your Mana, no matter what. Only when you needed, for example, when the boss tried to rush us, I want you to use [Shield Rush] to cancel the boss immediately, no asking. Got it?"
Handsome nodded solemnly, he asks. "How about the other goblins that broke my defense? We can't risk ourselves to the ratio of goblins inside, you can't possibly kill one of them whilst I keep the boss and goblins distracted."
"When that happened, I will shout to you to retreat." He simply replies.
The two nodded.
"And for you Heal," Yulsa looks at their healer. "I want you to be on the back as far as possible. Don't focus on me, I want you to focus on Handsome health bar. See if his health is in dangered, let says about 75% health, that's the mark that you will [Heal] him. [Heal] him, twice, thrice? I don't care, [Heal] him until his health at the max bar again and immediately fall back to let your cooldown potion reset, and use the mana potion immediately if your mana bar is in critical 50% bar, don't be frugal till your mana bar is been max. Do you get it? You're the key to our success Heal, I'm counting on you."
Dragon Online has restricted rules when it comes to potion management.
When a player is in combat, he or she can't use a potion to replenish his health or mana to continue the battle, the player needs to retreat before they could use a potion, about 20-second of waiting.
Just imagine, if the developers didn't apply this rule, everyone should probably have an easy way of defeating dungeons on their own, solo.
Also, heal in this game have no cooldown but instead mana management.
If a healer cast his/her [Heal] two times in a row, the first one will be valid, but the second is invalid. The second time when Mage uses the [Heal], the mana cost would be double the normal, draining their mana at the fast-pace. If you wanted to be frugal when it comes to this, you can just wait for your [Heal] to its cooldown before using it again.
But Yulsa knew that is not a good strategy for their predicament.
If he let Handsome in the dangered situation by being provident, he must likely die when something unexpected happens. He can't take the risk!!
"You can count on me!" IHealYou replied solemnly.
It seems she can handle the hardest part of their strategy even though her jobs are only to [Heal]. But...
That's not the issue here, because she needs to calculate every move she needs to do. Like, when does she advance? Is it after Handsome health bar is 75%? Or before it? What if their retreating because the Tank can't handle the pressure? Does she retreat to make the distance? Or forward?
Her job is simply to heal the tank, but doing it is another topic.
It also came with mental fatigue for her own role in the party's success. Humans tend to put pressure on themselves when they notice how important their role is.
But looking at IHealYou, Yulsa thinks she'll do just fine.
After about half an hour, the trio moved to open the door and scout what inside.
