After Helga had significantly calmed down, and after they had convinced her to not stab Quinn for taking another opponent away from her, the three walked out the door and into the courtyard in the military base.
"Run run run!!"
"Get moving cadets, this isn't a drill!"
"The explosions happened all over the base right?"
"Yeah. And I also heard that the Hollows left the base to handle business elsewhere. It's as though they knew we would be vulnerable today!"
"Damn it! How did they even know where our base was at all?"
These were the words being shouted all around the courtyard. Everywhere there was chaos, people running deeper into the building and cadets were being ushered away from the outside of the base.
Outside the base, the senior officers and generals were engaged in battle with some intruders who had managed to infiltrate the military base. They were large in number, about 100 in all, and all of them were members of the revolutionary army.
