"Awwn, I'm a rank five?" a voice said in despair
"Don't worry, I'm a rank four so were both in the same boat" another voice said
The ranking of the army was done in a way to show the potential of the cadets and the likelihood of one of them becoming a lieutenant or even a general.
The rankings were done from one to five. Five were reserved for foot soldiers who would be used as the masses in any war. Though their worth individually were not much, they would be very formidable in a group.
Four were almost the same as five, just that they were stronger and allowed to take on more responsibilities.
Three were for cadets who were seen as the vanguard of the army. They were the main forces responsible for throwing off the armies of the enemy and causing chaos in their ranks.
Two were for people with the most likelihood of being lieutenants and the first rankers were those with the most likelihood of being generals
