After my brief and unexpected chat with Hestia that ended with her feeding the ever living crap out of me… with dozens of dishes… each one better than the last, I mean seriously she should be called the goddess of grandmothers, because I was probably ten pounds heavier after our talk.

Anyway, after our brief chat, she pointed out the two fatal flaws of my plan, for one. She said that my golem, while almost perfect and very detailed, had too many minuscule differences with me, ones that beings like the gods would notice with a simple glance like for example, the lack of a soul, and while mostly clueless Mr.D apparently would eventually notice. Two even if I managed to trick Mr.D, I was marked, something I didn't have the slightest idea of what it meant until Heatia explained it to me, apparently Artemis had marked me… and the mark worked like a magical tracking device, showing my sister had preemptively plan for my escape… clever girl.

In summary, my brilliant escape plan was not an option anymore… but that didn't mean I would stand down… no, that only meant I had to try harder… so, with that in mind, I created a new plan, one that would revolve around me literally stealing the spotlight from Percy, how? Well, like before I will use the infernal conflict of the gods to my delicious advantage with my succulent new plan.

Allow me to explain… Well there is not really much to explain, besides the fact that I will go out, recover Zeus's master bolt and Hades helmet giving them both to their original owners and in the process, winning a few favors from the gods I plan to cash out.

But the problem now was how to recover those powerful items without Zeus thinking I stole them in the first place…. Hestia! Of course, if I asked her to make me her champion she would have the liberty to send me in Quests! Which in turn would cover both my permission to get out and the reason why I recovered the weapons.

With a smile on my face, I ran towards my fireplace and prayed to her, ~Hey Hestia, I know we talked like an hour ago, but I had an idea, one that would result in less bloodshed for the demigods, and less godly apocalyptic war for the gods, if you want to hear my master plan, please come and bring some cookies…~ at first I got no response, but a few minutes later, Heatia came out walking out of the fireplace with a tray full of cookies and drinks.

"This is so exciting!" Hestia giggled, "I haven't had a good talk about adventures since Hermes stopped having them,"

"Hermes?" I chuckled.

"Yes, he used to go to my manor to tell me about his grand adventures… you know, when he used to deliver the packages himself," Hestia nodded, "So what's your plan now? I thought you were going to use the golem,"

"I was, but I rather avoid being caught immediately," I sighed, "You pointed out a lot of mistakes on my plan, so I formulated a new plan, I want to be your champion,"

"Not that I am not flattered, but what is the takeaway?" Hestia inquired.

"Well, if I read correctly on the books a god can send his champion on… secondary quests? I am not sure if that's the term," I chuckled, "And I plan to use that to recover what it was stolen from your brother," I had no idea if Hestia knew about Hades and his helmet situation, but it was best to avoid showing too much meta knowledge, I trusted Hestia but it's better be safe than sorry.

"I see," Hestia sighed, "You do realize there is a reason why gods don't pick champions as often as we used to right?"

I shook my head, I had no idea.

"Quest without the oracle usually end… really bad, so… we stopped picking champions," Hestia smiled softly at me, "Besides, I can't offer you as much as other Gods could, I am not the strongest, and my realms are not battle oriented, so my blessings will not make you stronger or faster,"

"But you are the one god I can trust with this… my siblings would not approve of my idea, and would force me to stay," I sighed, "And I don't care if your blessing don't make me stronger, I am plenty strong as it is,"

"Are you sure?" Hestia asked with clear hesitation, "I do not want you to be disappointed when the only power you get is awesome cooking skills or minor fire control,"

"Hestia, I would love to be your champion, let's be honest, any other God beside you and my siblings would use me as a pawn, my brothers care about me in their own ways, and you are too good to evilly use someone," I smiled at her.

"Very well," Hestia smiled at my words, "Who am I? to stop a free spirit from roaming the world for a thrilling adventure," she chuckled as she approached me with her hands covered in flames, "I, Hestia, the first and last Olympian, choose Adam Aragon as my champion, may he bring me glory, may he make the hearth proud, I bless my champion with the fire of hearth so that he never feels the cold, I bless my champions with the feasts of Olympus, so that he never has to feel hunger, I bless my champion with the burning coal of the first hearth so that fire never burns him!"

I felt… different, my body felt somewhat lighter, not enough to say I was faster, but enough to notice I had more energy, I also felt warm… as if a heater was inside me, it was an odd but very fulfilling sensation.

"I hope you are not disappointed with my blessings," Hestia smiled, "Now… I suppose I have to send you to recover the master bolt?"

I smiled, "Yes,"
