Not even the next day, Cross took action. He searched the souls of all the spies and found the rest. Haha, I'm afraid the beasts and the Luo family in the Devil Luo Region will be bombed to death! There were thousands of spies out of the Millions of disciples. Cross directly made them all tools and robbed them. He 'stored' them in a box he made and went out to 'clean up the Sect' honestly, he was only doing this because Lily and Artemis were here.
Someone once asked him "What if you kill the wrong person by accident?" Cross simply said "Say oops and plant a flower on their grave." he really didn't care at all. The school was going to be safe, but they weren't losing any firepower because everyone Cross 'cleaned up' became a human bomb and was stored in the box.
He also didn't forget to rob them all blind. The 12 counsel members and their families were also a part of the purge, except for the ones who were on the Dean's side. He read the Wang family's counsel member's soul and found out his targets.
That's when the real purging started, overnight entire families and everything they owned disappeared completely. A few days later, the barrier was lifted and the eyes disappeared. The counsel members were smoothly replaced and nobody said a single word.
Cross was sitting in Guo Ran's residence and looking at Guo Ran with narrowed eyes. Long Chen sighed and sat on the side lazily, Cross said "On what basis?" Guo Ran said "I'm the president! You don't lose out! Plus..." he trailed off, not daring to finish his sentence.
Cross felt his eyes twitching fiercely as he said "Into the secret room." the three disappeared and reappeared in the Secret room. Cross grabbed Guo Ran and Long Chen before going into the Inner World.
He kicked Guo Ran in the ass towards the Forging Pavilion. Guo Ran was in awe as he looked at the forging pavilion and everything inside. Long Chen looked around and said "It's much better in here than before!" Cross and Long Chen were walking around, Cross replied "The Purity Dew defused into the air. Also, all the new herbs are in the herb garden, I can't even count them all."
Long Chen nodded and went to take a look, they passed the blood pool and Long Chen said "It's much thicker now." Cross looked at the pool and replied "This place is too mysterious, so don't understand the feeling I have when I'm here. It's like a sleeping beast that won't wake up. I think when it wakes up, everything will be heaven defying!"
Long Chen nodded and said "I think so too, it's very strange." Cross shared a theory "I think the library, when it's full, or something happens to it, will be able to fuse techniques." Long Chen's eyes widened and Cross said seriously "It's a feeling I have. It can compile the techniques right now what about later? It must be so!"
Long Chen sucked in a cold breath of air and said "Amazing!" Cross scratched his neck and said excitedly "Actually, I have high expectations for that moment..." He saw to Long Chen in giddiness "What would happen when your arts and mine fuse?" Long Chen's eyes almost popped out of their sockets as he said "That's insane!"
Cross almost jumped up and down as he said "Do you know what that means, Long Chen!? When we're at the top of the world we can start our own descendants line! Like the Void God and the Nine Star God!" Long Chen's eyes sparkled at the thought and he got excited for the future, they both giggled like little school girls and skipped around happily.
A while later
They came back to the Forging Pavilion and saw Guo ran with red eyes holding ores and materials in his arms trying to get more. Cross felt his mouth twitch and Long Chen laughed as he said "What are you doing?"
Guo Ran was startled and said "Boss! Father-in-law!" Cross almost spat out a mouthful of blood and Long Chen burst out laughing, Guo Ran started to sweat in fear, he was startled! It just came out! He was dreaming!
Cross beat him up good and they left the Inner World, Guo Ran was bruised with bumps everywhere but he was extremely happy. He had a ring on his finger with countless precious materials, he even 'snuck' into the library and read the [Void Forging Scripture] before 'sneaking' out.
Cross and Long Chen were watching him the whole time and Cross was gloomy. Long Chen sneered, this guy's cold on the outside, warm on the inside. If his daughter tells him she loves Guo Ran, he can't do anything but accept it.
The days passed
Long Chen taught 300 disciples the Starry River Sky Formula and Guo Ran started working on armor with Lily and Artemis. Cross watched over the 300's progress and all 300 of them connected with their stars, strengthening their weak bodies. Also in this time, 300 Starry Armors were completed and given to them.
7 days later
They received a distress signal from Qingyu City. Guo Ran took 100,000 disciples and drove 300 warships out to Qingyu city to slaughter the beasts. Cross, Long Chen, Guo Ran, Lily, and Artemis were standing at the front of the boat as they flew to Qingyu City, when they got there there was a trap waiting for them.
Guo Ran was the first to rush out in his armor and start killing the enemies. Lily donned a giant suit of armor 5 times bigger and thicker than herself. There were countless runes on it and the head of the armor had a white skull painted on it. The mouth of the Armor exhaled smoke and the entire thing moved punching through a beast and turning it into blood mist.
Cross and Long Chen were stunned, Artemis clapped her hands and a black armor appeared, wrapping tightly around her body. Her Mace appeared and she smashed the beasts into meat.
Cross' mouth was wide open in shock, since when were these girls so fierce?! Long Chen was equally stunned and the duo watched as the army slaughtered the beasts like vegetables before the fleet flew to a mountain, chopping it in half and revealing 400 warships inside.
Guo Ran ordered the fleet to blew up the enemies and so they did until the void trembled and a ship appeared, Guo Ran shouted "Qingying Warship!" Cross' eyes sparkled and he stepped, disappearing.
He slaughtered everyone on the Qingying ship and shrank it down to a handheld version, he had heard from Guo ran that there was only one Qingying ship ever made by Luo Qingying herself. Cross was excited and burst out laughing, he returned to the deck of the first warship and he looked over the Qingying Warship with excitement.
Guo Ran led the rest and they slaughtered the enemy, forcing them to escape after destroying 1000 warships. They were about to clean up when some old man and a bunch of other people said that they just got there and wanted to help.
Long Chen directly told them to scram, this fucking old guy was hiding in the void the entire time only coming for the spoils. Cross was even more direct and killed the old man before stealing all his stuff.
He looked at the disciples and a greedy light shone in his eyes, the disciples were frightened and immediately fled in their ships. Long Chen ordered everyone to clean up within the hour and set up a formation to transport the survivors of Qingyu City to Tianjiao Academy to safety.
A while later
They went back to the Tianjiao Academy, but there were 10,000 uninvited guests there. Long Chen and Cross looked at them coldly, pretty much knowing their intentions. Cross left it to Long Chen and grabbed Lily and Artemis before disappearing.
Cross appeared in the Inner World and sat them both down before saying "You understand the [Void Forging Scripture] yeah?" Lily and Artemis nodded and Cross nodded before saying "Good. Today, daddy is going to give you a huge boost." he waved his hand and a bunch of precious materials fell in front of them forming a mountain.
Cross sorted and digested all the information about forging he got from the library, he didn't have all the books but it was only a matter of time before it happened. He started teaching the duo what he knew, which surprised the two girls greatly. Think about it, he was there for like a week or so and he knew more than them!
They listened seriously, Cross was a master forger. The [Void Forging Scripture] might seem easy but just like the Alchemy he learned from Long Chen, it was much more complicated under the surface.
The girls listened earnestly and Cross sent them along with the materials into a forging room, turning on the time distortion effect before going into a forging room of his own. He had read all the books available to him and he had treasures for Aurora to Devour.
The difference between Guo Ran's armor and Cross' is that Cross' had a spirit in it and is essentially, a living thing. The other's armors are not. In the case of Lily and Artemis, they can be! He stressed the integration of their armor and the bracelets, not only would it be much more effective but the armor would also grow along with Aurora, which meant whenever Cross added something to Aurora, their armors would also be strengthened accordingly.
In addition to them being able to strengthen it themselves! It was simply heaven defying.
Cross sat in the room and took out all the armors and warships he stole along with the rarest ores and materials he had and melted them all into Liquid before forming runes with his hands, his hands blurred as his speed increased and a black flame was burning the liquid, cleansing the impurities from the liquid.
Cross collected the impurities and Aurora devoured the ball of liquid, countless runes lit up on the necklace and swam around in the beads like little fish, added a deep aura of mystery to the necklace. Aurora squealed in delight and got all giddy and excited.
Cross smiled and rubbed the prayer beads with joy, feeling her aura increasing by a large margin. Aura confidently said that she could now turn into a boat with a cannon that was not weaker than the Qingying Warship, not only that but the boat was extremely fast and could hold more people now.
Cross was stunned and praised Aurora fiercely for being so awesome. Aurora was over the moon in happiness at all the praises.

Cross exited the forging room to see that Lily and Artemis weren't done yet. He left the Inner World and went to go find Long Chen, seeing as he had nothing to do. Maybe he can beat up Guo Ran, that always alleviates his stress and boredom.
