Cross came out to see Long Chen in front of millions of people, he rushed over and heard "Except the spies, kill all the protestors." Cross said "Wait! Wait!" everybody looked at Cross and the protestors said "See! Even Long Chen's brother thinks this is absurd! Long Chen must be plotting something!"
Cross chuckled and said righteously "I will get you all a proper explanation!" he stomped up and the protestors cheered, the old men frowned and Long Chen pursed his lips in amusement, trying not to laugh.
Cross stood next to Long Chen and said 'angrily' "What are you doing! You're a spy!?" Long Chen burst out laughing, Cross' angry look disappeared and he laughed. The protestors felt something was wrong and Cross wiped his eyes and said "Killing them all, isn't it wasteful?"
Long Chen smirked and said "Oh? Can you do it?" Cross chuckled evilly and looked at the group of millions as he said "Maybe with a bit of effort. But it shouldn't be a problem." An old man said "What are you going to do?"
Long Chen looked at him and smiled "Qianyun Zong, this guy is much more ruthless than me. Just watch." Qianyun Zong was puzzled, but he was soon pale with fear.
Cross spread out his hands and laughed as he said "So many precious tools, this daddy will except them all! Hahahaha! Let's see the Luo Clan fight back when I bomb them to death!" millions of little black lotuses flew over the crowd of millions, sinking into the protestors and spies' foreheads.
The millions turned into loyal human bombs and Cross' wild and evil laughter rang across the entire Tianjiao College. Cross opened a box and sucked them all inside, in less than a minute the entire group was gone.
Guo Ran looked at the box and said with desire "Fuck! If I had that wouldn't I be able to walk around without fear!?" Cross laughed and said "100's not enough? No problem! 1000 human bombs per Luo clan member!" everyone sucked in a cold breath of air, looking at Cross like he was a demon.
This was actively having 0 regard for human life!
Long Chen shouted "Starry River Warriors! Follow me!" Cross chuckled and all the Starry River Warriors, all 100,000 of them disappeared in a flash of light, leaving all the old guys behind.
Long Chen and Cross appeared in front of one of the Luo family's locations. Cross was excited and Long Chen cut the barrier open with a dagger, Cross rushed in and touched the ground, absorbing the magic land and everything under ground before laughing wildly and rushing into the Luo buildings robbing them blind as the Starry River Warriors started slaughtering he Luo family people.
(Note: Luo family betrayed the human race and sided with the beasts or as they're called in the book- Moluo. Long Chen made a friend named Xia Guhong when Cross was filling Feng Xue'er up. Xia Guhong came from this place and he was betrayed by the Luo family so he left with his wife Luo Qingying, eventually the Luo family was being killed from all sides by the people because they betrayed humanity.
Luo Qingying's mother send her a sad story in a letter making Luo Qingying feel sad and pity towards her family so she snuck back, but her family set a trap and killed her. Xia Guhong went there and held Luo Qingying in his arms and her last words were not to kill her family. She's a retard but Xia Guhong is a cool guy, he lives in the Wine God's Palace in the Purple Flame Heaven Region.
Anyway, Long Chen is really angry and we're gonna kill every Luo family member in the Magic Luo Region, also this Luo family and the Luo family that Luo Ning is from are completely different, something to do with Chinese words, they can look the same in English but they're actually completely different in Chinese. Like Oar, Or, and Ore... Basically)
Cross ransacked the place clean, not even a single speck of dust was left. Long Chen cut a mountain and revealed even more things, the 100000 Starry River Warriors quickly learned from Cross and picked the place clean, even taking the doors and windows!
Long Chen gathered everyone on a transfer array and activated it. Cross held his box, he was saving it for a big surprise. Guo Ran whispered "We should leave a gift!" everybody else nodded and Cross shook his head saying "No, because then we'll lose the element of surprise. Plus, this daddy will show you a good fireworks show when the time is right. What using in groups? I'm using them all at once!"
Everyone was shocked and then they all started laughing as they disappeared from the place. Even the soil on the ground was taken! Cross directly stole the magic ore land that the base was on and put it in the inner world, sure enough, following Long Chen will bring you endless wealth!
Long Chen busted an array and Cross appeared next to him as he said "Time to shine!" as he opened the box. Millions of human bombs flew out and littered around the place, Cross touched the barrier and said "Time Stop." the time inside stopped and Cross ran in like lightning, stealing everything.
A few minutes later
He came back with an excited face and snapped his fingers, returning time inside to normal, as he said "Ready for the fireworks?" Long Chen was excited and Cross put out a thumbs down before the duo backed out of the barrier and it sealed itself. The 100000 Starry River Warriors appeared and watched as a world shaking explosion went off, countless lights flashed everywhere.
The explosions decimated the city and they bloomed like flowers, dazzling the audience. Cross said "Right, why were there more Qingying ships inside?" Long Chen said "They're all imitations. There's only one real one." Cross frowned and said "The one I had before was an imitation?" Long Chen nodded and Cross cursed.
Long Chen chuckled and the smoke cleared, revealing a devastated city. Long Chen opened the barrier and said "Kill the rest and rob everything else." Cross chuckled and the 100,00 Starry River Warriors rushed in doing exactly what Long Chen said.
Cross flew into the city with Long Chen saying "Let me show you something good." He punched a hole in the ground, revealing a treasury. Long Chen grinned and they robbed everything inside before finding a box made of Magic Dragon Black Gold. They opened it and found a list of traitors among the Terrans.
Long Chen took the list and Cross took the box as well as the stones and shelves, he even punched through the other walls hoping for more secret treasure only to be disappointed. The duo left and went back outside. Cross flew around and stole the fake Qingying Warships before leaving with Long Chen and the rest, they got in a Warship and flew away as the entire barrier around the city exploded, leaving only a giant pit.
Cross laughed and the rest cheered, Long Chen suddenly said "Go! Now!" A huge black cloud appeared and the Moluo appeared in hordes. Long Chen activated a jade and watched the transmission with everyone.
They saw a Moluo smash a Qingying Ship with two staff strikes before turning to the jade. Cross' eyes and the Moluo's clashed and Cross sneered as his eyes turned, the Moluo screamed in pain and the jade shattered.
Everyone was shocked and Cross' eyes bled a little bit, he wiped the blood and said "I like that stick." Long Chen slowly grinned and said "Return to Tianlong." They got back to the Academy and Cross rushed through the place, breaking barriers and copying all the books in the entire College, also stealing everything he saw.
Long Chen said "Abandon this place and go to Sheng Tianyu." he was met with a lot of opposition.
Meanwhile
Cross was robbing everything, every nook and cranny was looked at. He took all the books, resources, ships, herbs, ores, materials, everything. He was not polite, they were abandoning this place anyway, might as well go into his private collection, no?
A while later
Cross returned and left with Long Chen to the Sheng Tianyu Region, he returned all the books and some ores to the Dean, who didn't know whether to laugh or cry seeing Cross' reluctant face. Long Chen pulled Cross aside and said "We have 7 days, what can you do?"
Cross said "Well, depends how long you want. I can give you a million years." Long Chen said "6 months and we steamroll the demons, easy." Cross replied "I'll do you one better. 1M-1D, 7 Months directly." Long Chen grinned and said "Now we're really gonna bully 'em."
The duo cackled and gathered all the people, Cross used some special means to make them believe it was only 7 days instead of months. Lily and Artemis came back with new and improved armor before creating armor for all the people.
7 days quietly passed outside
300 million soldiers were gathered and all 300 million of them connected with at least one star, they were all wearing armor as well. Cross donated the Warships he stole, but really inside his heart was bleeding at the loss. They were able to recreate Qingying warships easily and there were millions of them.
Long Chen and Cross were giggling like little girls at the scene they were going to witness. They looked at the demons in the distance and Cross looked back at the Starry River Warriors before saying "Pfft- Ahem! You guys can do it! BAHAHAHAHAHA!" he couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing, the entire army started laughing.
Cross shouted through a laugh "Go steamroll these morons! Show them the power of the Starry River Warriors! Hahahaha!" Long Chen grinned and Cross stood up saying "Alright. Let this daddy show you how it's done!" His Void Battle Body opened and runes covered all the armored spots and his horns.
He stood at the front with his scythe, looking like a devil with 6 arms and horns. Guo Ran shouted "Holy fuck that's cool!" Cross grinned and said "I got the left." Long Chen smirked and they both rushed forward, charging into the horde of Moluo Demons and starting the slaughter.
The Starry River Warriors roared and a thick killing intent appeared as they charged forward, millions of ships above them. Cross was cutting the demons like vegetables, they didn't even drop to the ground, their corpses went sent to the black soil.
Suddenly, countless little blackholes appeared, there were more blackholes than people! Weapons rained down from the skies, avoiding the Starry River Warriors and killing Moluo before disappearing along with the Corpses. It doesn't take a genius to guess where those went.
Cross jumped into the air and tore space disappearing and reappearing behind the Moluo with a silver stick from the jade transmission. He sliced the man's head off with Long Chen's dagger before searching his soul and destroying it. He robbed him of the stick and his treasures before sending him to the pile like everyone else.
The Starry River Warriors got a huge morale boost from the leader of the enemy being killed in a single blow. Cross threw the dagger to Long Chen before diving into Moluo hordes. Lily just charged through groups of Moluo at a time, trampling them with her giant armor, punching demons right through.
Artemis smashed people with her mace like a barbarian, Cross was the least worried about them, they were so fierce! The Moluo were completely decimated, it wasn't even a fight. It was like an adult boxer fighting a baby.
Suddenly a space door opened, the old guys who were helping out threw their belongings to Guo Ran and charged into the space gate, The Dean, Qianyun Zong, and 7 other old guys detonated themselves, blowing up the space gate and saving the day.
Everybody's eyes turned red and slaughtered the rest of the demons. Long Chen was beyond angry and killed endlessly. Cross stood in the air, 4 of his arms stabbing into the void as he looked at the space gate in thought. We was about to make a move but the old guys told him not to, that they would handle it.
But why? Did they not like living? He could've closed the space gate no problem. Then why did they sacrifice themselves? Cross was in a daze looking at the space gate, in actuality this was another type of beginning.
For a new era to flourish, the old one must come to an end. The end of a life is the beginning of a new one. In reality there is no end, only an endless cycle, constantly changing. The old guys died so the young guys could live without the burden of the old ways, to begin anew, to restart fresh, to become... better.
Cross' eyes shined brightly and Long Chen looked over to be shocked, this guy... did he just achieve enlightenment on the battlefield?!
Cross was indeed in an ethereal state at the moment. Something spectacular and unbelievable happened, Cross aged rapidly becoming extremely old before transforming into a fetus and growing to his original state.
Long Chen was stunned speechless, he had never seen something so weird before!
Cross repeated the cycle a total of 9 times. On the 9th time, his breath suddenly changed. It was extremely heavy and overbearing, his skin was completely pure and glistening, he was completely naked but his body looked even more perfect than before. His tattoos were still there but his hair was extremely long, going upwards into the sky much longer than his actual body.
Under Cross' skin his bones glistened black and shined through his skin, revealing his veins and muscles and organs, his skin was covered with scale patterns before they sank into his flesh and blocked the vision of the inside.
His blood was bright, bright, Golden Red and his entire body suddenly gave off a Supreme Aura. As if he was the ruler of all things, the Moluo were directly crushed to death and the Starry River Warriors felt the urge to kneel down.
Long Chen shrugged off the Aura and looked at Cross bewildered.
Cross muttered between Heaven and Earth "There is no Beginning, There is no End. Only the endless cycle of Creation and Destruction. In the end, only the Void is eternal."
The entire world seemed to fizzle away and everyone was standing in a void, Cross let out a primordial aura and it shot into the sky as his cultivation soared. Inside his body, the 'Abyss' runes came together to form 'Void' runes. Each 'Void' Rune was made up of countless little runes, the 'Void' runes multiplied endlessly while twisting together and forming ropes of runes that coiled around every cell in his body.
His bones were pitch black and crystalline, his blood was Golden-Red, and Rune ropes were everywhere in his body. His eyes spun rapidly and 6 more 'petals' appeared on each ring in his eyes, forming Enneagons.
His cultivation soared and thunderclouds looked to be forming, but suddenly everything disappeared and Cross' cultivation was sealed. He was still in his enlightened state, but there was nowhere for the energy to go, so it went into his meridians. His meridians were being destroyed and recreated, expanding endlessly becoming tougher and tougher.
Basically, his meridians were like straws before, but now they were like rivers! This was incredible because, the thickness and width of the meridians directly correlated to how much power you could move with your body.
Let's say, you pick up a 100 pound weight. Smaller meridians would be like using your teeth, while bigger meridians was like using your hands.
A few minutes later
Cross blinked and came out of his enlightened state, his cultivation was unsealed and the endless power flowed through his meridians as well as his blood. Cross felt like he could slap his former self to death in a single go!
His cultivation didn't cross to the Tribulation, but he was at the peak of the 10th level of the Divine Lord Realm. His 'Void' rune ropes were still growing endlessly, having more room now.
He looked at everyone, who was looking at him like he was a monster, and said "What?" Long Chen said "Oi... You're still naked." Cross looked down and sure enough, his dick was out for the world to see!
Cross was stunned but not shy as he said "What happened?" Guo Ran shouted "Oi! Cover up!" Cross sneered and put his hands on his hips saying "Eh? Feeling inferior? Heh! I'll have you know, this Daddy can last 1000 rounds easy!"
Long Chen covered his face and laughed as the rest sneered and started cleaning up the battlefield, Lily and Artemis wanted to find a hole and hide in it, they were so embarrassed! What kind of father is this?!
