Cross sighed and the disciples fell to the ground. Long Chen said "Don't faint, you'll get more benefits this way." before he started cleaning up the battlefield. Luo Ning said "Big Devil, I thought you were really going to let us die." Cross sighed and said "I was, but then I realized that you're so pitiful, you would all be bullied in the underworld."
The disciples choked in grief and Long Chen chuckled. Luo Ning pouted and Luo Bing gasped "So many points!?" the number on her jade was '174000' Cross held up the jade on his waist and the number was '136000' the disciples all had their mouths open wide.
A while later
Luo Ning said "Third Brother, you said that you had a legion before. You're always saying were bad, are we inferior to them?" Long Chen rubbed his nose and said "Can I not answer?" Luo Ning growled "Just answer!"
Long Chen sighed and said "I pick 10 random soldiers and they can clean up the whole group of disciples. If the 10 form a circle they can wipe out all the demons in half an hour, even the ones Cross killed."
Luo Ning frowned and said "I don't believe it!" Long Chen shrugged and said "Believe what you want. I'm not going to explain." They finished cleaning up after a while and went back to the academy, Long Chen told Luo Bing and Mu Qingyun to recruit people while he left to the scripture pavilion.
Cross had absolutely nothing to do and went to the scripture hall as well, looking for something to catch his interest. He entered the pavilion and bumped shoulders with a tall man, Cross frowned and kept going when the man said "You! How dare you!" Cross slapped the tall man into a building across the Academy before continuing into the pavilion.
He looked through bookshelves but he couldn't be fucked to find a single technique for him. He went through a bargain bin of techniques, the classic place to find hidden gems! Unfortunately whoever told him that bargain bins had hidden gems was a fucking liar, he found nothing.
He walked to a chair and sat down, who would've thought that the chair had seen better days? The back legs snapped and Cross fell backwards, good thing there was no one there to witness his tragic appearance.
Cross turned to get up when he saw a sparkling jade under a bookshelf! What was luck after misfortune!? This was it! He rolled to the bookshelf and grabbed the jade. He penetrated it with his soul and his entire body flashed and disappeared.
He was teleported into a room and the Technique was displayed in his mind. A man stood against countless enemies and blackholes appeared behind him, there were countless blackholes popping up in the air behind him.
Soon enough, swords, spears, axes, hammers, spikes, every weapon imaginable poked out from the blackholes. There were countless weapons and the man simply pointed forward, the weapons rained down on the enemies like rain, killing them all.
A name floated to his brain [Gates of the Void].
Cross was awed and excited, he really picked up a treasure this time! To practice the technique you had to first have sufficient mastery over all the elements and Space but also knowledge of forging. Cross was king in this regard, basically what the technique did was have the user create weapons out of energy and imprint them with his mark before storing them in a space where they can be recalled easily.
The maker of the technique said that the limit of the weapons was non existent! As long as the user could maintain the imprint and make the weapons, it would continue! Endlessly! Cross was stunned, did he just pick up a 'Super-Ultra-Uber-Omega-Mega-Godly Technique'?!
There was also another part, the weapons' strength will increase based on the user's strength. Cross eyes widened, definitely a 'Super-Ultra-Uber-Omega-Mega-Godly Technique'!!!
He sat in the room and held his hands together, a black flame appeared between his palms. He pulled his palms apart, closing his eyes. A pitch black long sword appeared in front of him. He bit his thumb and smeared his blood on the blade while making the hand runes and 'forging' the sword of energy.
Sweat rolled down his forehead and the sword glowed before floating there. Cross opened his eyes and got excited as he held the sword that looked exactly like a real sword! He took out a block of wood and slashed, cutting the wood in half neatly, leaving only two black surfaces because the sword was made of fire Qi.
Cross sucked the sword into his body and kept it in his star spaces. He lifted his hand and a blackhole appeared, the black sword poked out but it was red now! Cross sent it back and it was like he got injected with chicken blood! He started making spears, swords, halberds, axes, hammers, maces, all types of different swords and weapons!
3 days passed in a flash
When Cross met up with the group he was pale and had bags under his eyes, but his eyes were bright and excited. Luo Ning said in shock "Big Devil what happened to you!?" Cross said "I was sucked dry of my Yang Qi, what do you think? Silly girl you missed your chance to warm my bed." Luo Ning blushed and regretted speaking to him.
Luo Bing gave her a teasing look and Luo Ning coughed saying "A Big Devil like you, I'm not surprised!" before muttering "At least you can take care of yourself, no? Idiot." Long Chen chuckled and said "Where are the recruits?" Mu Qingyun and Luo Bing brought a bunch of people in front of Long Chen looked at them all and said to a woman "Alright, speak. Who sent you?"
The woman was stunned and said "Third Master, you-" Long Chen waved and said "Don't be nervous and don't speak what you were told to say. In this world there may be people who can lie to me, but you are not one of them."
The woman trembled and opened her mouth but no words came out. Long Chen smiled and said "It's okay, you can speak. I won't embarrass you." the woman fell to her knees and said "It's Chu Yang." Long Chen pulled her up saying "I won't punish you because you're from Chu Yang, after all, you haven't done any harm. If you really want to stay in the Carefree alliance, we can take you in. You don't have to worry about Chu Yang, but if they have your family, then I can't help you."
The woman said "You can still trust me?!" she was filled with disbelief, Long Chen smiled and said "No one can lie to me, if you want to stay, with your talent, you're more than welcome. As for Chu Yang, that was before. If you join the Carefree Alliance, you will be a member. I believe in you."
The woman said excitedly "I swear I will-" Long Chen cut her off and said "Alright, alright. No need to be so grand. Since I dare let you in, I'm not afraid you will betray. You will soon find out this was the wisest decision of your life." he sent the woman back and looked at the group before saying "The rest of you think you're very good at hiding. Your skills are fart under Lord Third's eyes. You're very lucky to join the Alliance because very soon there will probably be tighter requirements, maybe you won't even be eligible by then. Therefore, cherish the opportunity, don't fool around or I will kick you out and you will regret it for the rest of you lives. Let's go."
The group entered the Demon Battlefield again. Long Chen started talking to the woman as the group made their way deep into the battlefield. Cross was getting pestered by Luo Ning constantly about his health and why he was so pale.
He mostly ignored her, teasing her occasionally with sexual jokes. What was he supposed to say? He practiced a technique for 3 days straight and made over a hundred weapons? It wasn't nearly enough and he was slightly disappointed with his progress if he was being honest. He noticed that each of the weapons went to a different star space, he hadn't even filled up 200 of them yet. There was still 107800 after that!
He had a long road ahead of him. But all the weapons were made from a different element! He stressed this greatly, he theorized that variety was key. If someone was immune to flames? No problem, smash him with thousands of different elements. A thousand's not enough? No problem! How about 10,000? No? How about 100,000?
Basically, smashing enough eggs on a stone to break it. But these eggs were hardboiled! Eventually it has to break, right?
The disciples started fighting while Cross and Long Chen started teaching the archers, before leaving them to their devices.
Suddenly a golden chariot flew over their heads and into the distance.
Luo Bing said "It's the Tiannu League!" Cross grinned and took a bow from a disciple before firing a black arrow. He threw the bow back and the arrow disappeared after the Golden chariot. Long Chen said "What did you do?" Cross smiled and said "Left a little message, no big deal. I didn't kill anybody."
Long Chen shook his head and continued to teach the disciples.
In the golden chariot
A few girls are talking amongst each other. Suddenly a 'Sou' was head and a little hole appeared in the chariot wall. An arrow flew in and stabbed into a wall in front of the girls. The arrow morphed into words that said 'Fly over this King's head again, and your pretty little faces will be put on display by themselves. -Lord Fifth ❤'
Back at the battlefield
The disciples were going just fine by themselves. Cross took two tokens and put them on his waist before saying "Little bro, It's too fucking boring here. I'm leaving." Long Chen took two tokens and threw a bunch of pills at Luo Bing saying "These are the pills to attract beasts. I'm leaving to the 5-star area. Stay in the 4-star it's not a problem."
Luo Bing nodded and Cross laughed as he said "Silly girl, remember to warm my bed later!" Luo Ning almost tripped and blushed before running away. Cross chuckled and jumped into the air before transforming into a giant dragon with 6 wings and flying away, stunning the entire group.
Long Chen chuckled and said "Never a dull moment." before spreading out thunder wings and chasing after him. The way they were going was the direction the chariot left in before!
