Cross and Long Chen flew through the sky, Long Chen flew next to Cross' head as he said "You're a dragon?" Cross replied "It's a ritual from a lower world. Everyone has a spirit animal inside them. The ritual makes it possible to transform into your spirit animal, mine just so happens to be a dragon. Luna is a rabbit, Feng Xue'er is a Phoenix, Jasmine is a White Tiger, and Jie Yuan is a Black Swan. I have a brother in the lower realms that's a Qilin."
Long Chen had his mouth open wide and Cross said "We can do it for you too if you want." Long Chen shook his head and said "Nah, I'm ok." Cross chuckled and spun around him saying "You sure?" Long Chen smirked and said "Won't people hunt me down?"
Cross laughed and said "Maybe you'll be a dog? Who would hunt down a dog?" Long Chen felt his mouth twitch and he swung a fist at Cross, who twisted out of the way while laughing. They flew towards a fire swamp and Cross hovered over the Dragon Fire camp.
The disciples looked up in horror and Cross roared at them, scaring them to their asses. Long Chen burst out laughing. Cross opened his mouth and blew out black flames, surrounding the entire camp and lighting their buildings on fire.
The disciples started scrambling and Cross and Long Chen left, diving into the red crack going into the Magic Battlefield. In the Magic Battlefield, there's no array to keep you safe, the tokens only record points, you can't call for help from an Elder with them anymore.
So to normal disciples this is basically a death zone.
But Cross was a dragon and Long Chen was the furthest thing from normal, so it wasn't an issue.
They entered the crack and Cross blew out dragon breath, destroying all the beasts coming after them. The little fire dragon on Long Chen's wrist gobbled up all the flame crystals before returning to Long Chen.
Just before they reached the exit, their tokens buzzed. Cross reverted to normal and they both left the tunnel into the Magic Battlefield to see an endless river. They landed on a mountain, but the mountain started moving.
Cross jumped "A fucking crocodile!? Fuck! How big is it!?" Long Chen chuckled and threw chains around the crocodile's mouth before moving them. The Crocodile writhed before running, trying to shake the two off. Cross laughed and held onto Long Chen, the two were waving in the air like a flag as the Crocodile sprinted away, trampling beasts everywhere it went.
The Crocodile was running towards a group of woman in white robes, standing next to a Golden Chariot. Cross squinted and hey! His women were there! What a strange coincidence! This begs the question, Ying'er was also here, where's Yuanyuan?
Long Chen shouted "Oi! Oi! Get out of the way, this guy doesn't listen at all." a woman in a golden dress stepped out, Long Chen and Cross looked at her and Long Chen said "Is that Bai Shishi?" Cross replied "Must be. Who else would wear that terribly ugly golden robe?" Long Chen said "I think it's nice, it makes her neck look better. En, she's quite pretty."
Cross sat down and crossed his arms, sitting on the beast without an issue as he said "Eh... I wouldn't say she's the most beautiful. She's pretty but how many beauties are there in the world? I can name 5 that are prettier than her in a second." Long Chen sneered "Your wives and maid don't count." Cross said angrily "Why not!?"
Long Chen rolled his eyes and said "If they counted, how could anybody be more beautiful than them? Though they aren't as beautiful as mine." Cross rolled his eyes and said "You? Heh. All of my girls are the most beautiful girls in the Lower Realms. Plus after I nourished them, they're even more beautiful!" Long Chen burst out laughing and Bai Shishi spoke to herself "The blood of this Crocodile is god, it might even become a Crocodile King in the future. I didn't expect to encounter such a strong Demon here..."
Cross shook his head and said "This woman is really dumb. It's true, the bigger the chest the smaller the brains." Long Chen continued to laugh, while the girls in white were seething in rage. Apparently they had heard his words. Luna, Feng Xue'er, Jasmine, and Jie Yuan covered their faces while Ying'er laughed.
Golden pillars shot out of the ground and chained up the Crocodile. Long Chen said "Oh, strong!" Cross looked at the Golden pillars and said "Does she think it's a day in the park? This crocodile isn't vegetarian..." the crocodile roared to the sky and burst into flames as the golden pillars started cracking.
Bai Shishi looked at Long Chen and Cross in surprise and finally said "Who are you?" a woman by her side shouted "Alliance leader! That's the fellow who stirs up wind and ran wherever he goes! Long Chen! And the handsome guy... I don't really know." everybody looked at the girl, you call him handsome but you don't even know his name?
The girl turned away in embarrassment, while Luna, Jasmine, Jie Yuan, Xue'er, and Ying'er shot her a glance, half coldness half amusement.
Bai Shishi said "So you're Long Chen? I remember you're in only one in the inner court that wears black clothes." Cross rolled his eyes and Long Chen smiled as he said "And you are?" Bai Shishi smiled and said "You need to ask?"
Long Chen nodded saying "Of course. If you don't know my name, then I have to pretend I don't know you're name. Or else, won't I look like an idiot?" Bai Shishi pointed to the crocodile, half amused, as she said "The Crocodile has been infuriated by you, when it breaks out, even I have to run. What's your plan?"
Long Chen said simply "I'll take it as a mount. You have a golden chariot, I have a Crocodile, there's no pressure for us to be friends." Bai Shishi was stunned and said "You can't. Even if you manage to subdue it, it has a soul mark and will explode in the pet space."
Long Chen sighed "What a pity." Bai Shishi suddenly said "It's starting to activate it's King Blood, this takes a little time. If you escape now, there's still time. For the sake of the Academy, I can let you ride in the Chariot to avoid the Crocodile."
Long Chen asked "Why don't we fight it together and split the profits?" Bai Shishi shook her head and said "It's defenses are too strong, if I want to kill it I have to make an effort. It has nothing I want, so it's useless to waste time on it."
Cross and Long Chen's expressions changed, Cross had a face full of disdain and Long Chen was disappointed as he waved "Alright, I never would have thought you were such an irresponsible woman. Leave, I'll take care of this myself." Bai Shishi got angry and said "What do you mean?"
Cross sneered "Idiot! The Crocodile was fine before you chained it up with your rusty Qi! All you had to do was move out of the way. If you didn't take action, do you think we would still be here? You infuriated the Crocodile and now your leaving with a pat on your ass because it's 'not worth the effort'. What a fucking idiot." he shook his head and added "I heard you were strong but it seems like the rumors were just rumors, how disappointing..."
The girls, excluding Cross' wives and Ying'er, were furious and shouted "Who are you to say that!?" "It's true all men are garbage!" Jasmine shook her head and said "Oh boy." Ying'er laughed and said "Bye-Bye~"
Cross blurred and appeared in front of the group, holding out his scythe as he said "All men are garbage, eh? That's to say you like women? I don't really care about your ridiculous mental diseases, but you will not insult my character." he took a step and appeared behind a girl who was shouting with the scythe blade gleaming right in front of her neck, his voice came "Your little lives... They've been in my hands since I got here. Even your precious leader can't save you, she can't even handle a crocodile, how can she even touch me?"
The girl who Cross held was trembling in fear and became completely white, the rest were completely silent and felt endless fear. Cross sneered and let the girl go as he said "It seems I was wrong about the entire League, no matter the Leader, you're all still flowers in a greenhouse. Honestly, this Academy is so disappointing. The 'most beautiful woman' is merely an idiot with nice skin and the top League is a bunch of mentally ill women."
He shook his head and said "Girls, lets go. I'll protect you myself if I have you, forget out these idiots, you might really catch a disease." Luna, Jasmine, Feng Xue'er, Jie Yuan, and Ying'er walked over and some girls shouted "What are you doing?!" Bai Shishi frowned and said "You're trying to poach my members?"
Cross stopped and Luna rushed to him, holding him back as she said "Shhh... Calm down." his emotionless face softened and he stroked Luna's hair while smiling, the other 4 came over and smiled at him.
The rest of the girls were terrified, from the moment Bai Shishi stopped speaking until Luna calmed him down. A terrifying killing intent slammed into them all, they had never felt something so scary in their entire lives! Even Bai Shishi was a little pale.
Cross kissed his girls and said "Go inside okay?" they all nodded and Ying'er pouted "No kiss for me?" Cross grabbed her collar and threw her into the inner world before saying "You should be with Yuanyuan." Ying'er stuck out her tongue as she disappeared, Jasmine glared at Cross, who sighed and said "I didn't even do anything!"
Jasmine huffed "You better not. Or I'll beat you to death." Cross hooked her waist and nibbled on her ear, whispering something. Jasmine turned completely red and ran off into the inner world, Xue'er giggled and followed her with Jie Yuan.
Luna turned around and smiled politely saying "Sorry, but he's our husband. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have joined in the first place." before kissing Cross and whispering in his ear. He nodded and Luna smiled, fixing his hair before leaving.
Cross ignored the rest and said to Long Chen "We can kill it ourselves, no?" Long Chen smirked saying "I thought free help was better but since she couldn't be fucked to do anything, then forget it." Bai Shishi was beyond angry and shouted "Who said I won't do it!? I'll do it!"
Cross and Long Chen looked at each other before looking at Bai Shishi and saying "Nah, that's okay. You can leave." Bai Shishi was stunned before shouting "I said I was going to help and I will help!" Cross and Long Chen sighed and decided to let this crazy woman have her way. Cross stepped to the side and Long Chen said "All you have to do is hold it's mouth open."
Bai Shishi said "So simple? And you think I can't even do this?!" she got angry again. Long Chen shrugged and let the crocodile go, it immediately opened it's mouth and shot out a breath of flames.
Bai Shishi was stunned and hurriedly formed a giant ball, keeping the Crocodile's mouth open as Long Chen ran inside. Cross stood by the side and watched as Bai Shishi's golden ball was obliterated and the Crocodile shut it's mouth.
She was angry and a massive explosion came from the crocodile's mouth, blowing gold sharps everywhere. Bai Shishi put up a thick golden shield and blocked the fragments but it was quickly turned to swiss cheese, fortunately nobody was killed and Long Chen came out holding a giant crystal.
He said "Thanks. You can have the body." before storing the crystal and running away like a hooligan. Cross chuckled and chased after him, disappearing from the site as Bai Shishi was stunned and angry, roaring "Shameless!"
