After the two boys spend the night in Ella's cabin it was time to help her level up.
"Alright, let's go raid some dungeons." James said.
"Du, du, dungeons? I thought we were going to kill monsters in the forest. The dungeons are too scary." Ella said.
"Aaah, so that is why you are only level 6. If you want to level up fast you have to go and clear dungeons." James said. "Besides you know have us two with you and Brodin is a tank player so he can protect you if needed."
"Yeah, I'll make sure you won't get hurt." Brodin said.
"Alright, but I am still not sure about this." Ella said as she walked after James and Brodin into the forest.
After walking for a bit they soon found the entrance to a dungeon. James walked in first to see what kind of a dungeon it was going to be.
After a few minutes, James came back out.
"And? What kind of dungeon is it?" Brodin asked.
"It is a volcanic dungeon." James said. "I've seen some lizard type monsters so I think the boss monster will be either a dragon or a dragon hatchling. Looking at the size of the dungeon it will probably a hatchling. It's level also won't be very high. Probably around level 10 to 15."
"Are you sure we can do another dungeon? It sounds dangerous!" Ella said.
"If you don't wanna take risks and not get stronger you can go back to your cabin and keep killing monsters in the forest." James said
"No, I'll go with you." Ella said.
After that, the three teens walked through the dungeon entrance.
Inside the dungeon, it was very hot and there was no sun. they were inside a cave. However, there was no lack of light since there were cracks in the stones that magma would flow through. Not enough to overflow and not as little as to produce no light. It was just enough.
As they were walking through this cave they came across countless monsters. James and Brodin didn't kill anything. They would weaken the monster and allow Ella her amber lion to kill the monsters. This method would guarantee that Ella would get the most experience points among the three.
Eventually, they reached a giant room where it was much hotter. There was also a hole in the ceiling.
"I guess this is the heart of the volcano." Brodin said.
"Then where were we before?" Ella asked.
"In the caves that surrounded the volcano." Brodin said.
"Well, it doesn't matter where we are because there are a lot more monsters over here." James said as he pointed to the other side of the volcano.
On the other side, there were also human-like monsters but they had wings. As they moved closer they could see that the human-like monsters were female and were clad in armor and also had swords.
"What are they?" Ella asked.
"Those are valkyries." James said.
"Valkyries?" Ella said.
"Yeah, valkyries. Valkyries are mythological creatures coming from northern mythology. They were the servants of the allfather who you might better know as Odin. They were also known as the battle maidens. They would travel to earth to select fallen warriors on the battlefield who were then able to enter Valhalla." James explained.
"Are they strong?" Ella asked
"Very strong." Brodin replied. "However, this is a low-level dungeon so their level and strength will not be too high."
After that, a small dragon flew through the volcano opening.
"Get ready for the boss fight." James said
"Kair come out!" Brodin then yelled.
"Arlok come forth." James said.
"Help me fight in this battle Elsing" Ella said
There they stood. The three teen players.
"Twin tails, tailwind." James said.
After that James grew two tails from his tailbone and became 10 percent faster. He also summoned his light and shadow daggers.
Brodin also used his dwarven shield skill which gave him an overall stat boost of 10 percent. He also took a shield and a war hammer out of his interspatial ring and charged into battle.
He was the first to charge so that he could draw the aggro of the monsters.
"Heed my call and fight for me my summon." Ella said.
Suddenly a lion started to appear. After the amber lion fully formed it also charged into battle.
James, Brodin, and the amber lion were fighting the minions before they would go and fight the boss of the dungeon and the valkyries.
After fighting for a little bit all the minions were killed and the four charged at the dragon hatchling and valkyries.
"Keep one valkyrie alive!" Ella yelled at the boys.
"What? Why?" James asked.
"Doesn't matter just do it!"
James then jumped to the dragon hatchling.
"Earth wall!" He then yelled.
After that, a giant wall of earth separated James and the hatchling from the others.
He then tried to cut the dragon hatchling but its scales were too tough to be cut through.
"Water spout." James then said and then an orb of water formed in Arlok's hands and then it shot at the dragon in the form of a stream.
This pushed the dragon hatchling to the wall.
"Dragon fist!" James screamed. And Arlok his hand started to form dragon scales. James could feel the powerup and started pounding on the dragon hatchling. But then suddenly fire started to shoot out of the hatchling's mouth.
'Crap, it is further in its transformation to a dragon than I thought.' James thought to himself.
Outside the earth wall, Brodin and the Amber lion were fighting the valkyries.
"Smashing hammer!" Brodin yelled as he swung at one of the valkyries. Kair behind him also swung his hammer and there was a sonic boom coming from the swing.
The valkyries head exploded on impact.
The lion would bite the wings off and then kill the valkyrie when it was down on the ground.
Eventually, only one valkyrie remained, and the earth wall was still up
